Last night's episode of Revenge!

Started 1318524884.47 in Viewpoints | Last reply 1318716047.553 by monti3

I have been watching this series and enjoying it but I really thought last night's episode was too bizarre for words. Somehow we are expect to believe that Emily tracked down the child psychiatrist that treated her when she was small after the woman left the mother-daughter tea and cracked her over the head knocking her out. Then somehow she got her into a vehicle, dragged her into a storage unit and locked her inside? All this without any help? In addition this is the first episode in which she actually used physical violence against one of the people she is trying to get revenge against. I had sympathy for her up to this point but I think this episode is causing me to rethink.

I thought that guy flunky for Victoria got to the psychiatrist I must of missed something. So far I like the show and I am willing to go with it and see how it develops.

What is with Daniel's friend ? Why does he dislike Emily/ Amanda so much? He is creepy...

15 seconds. That is how much time you have to run for your life.

How do you negotiate with someone whose goal in life is to kill you? All you are doing is biding time.

I was really interested in this new series since I am a big fan of Emily VanCamp. So disappointed so far and don't think I'll watch anymore.

I love the show and think she is more than justified; actually her revenge is mild compared to what they did to her and her father, none are spending the rest of their life in prison. That Psychiatrist deserved to be locked in the storage unit for a lot longer than a few hours.

I am confused as to who the kinda homely guy with the straight blonde hair is who is always hanging around Emily. Is he in cahoots with her?

Also, what is the deal with the "college friend" who deliberately sabotaged the son's dinner date with Emily and then got him drunk?

Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

If I had to guess, the college friend has his own agenda not related to Emily.

The blond guy knew Emily's father who helped him when no one else would. He's mega-rich because of that help. I think he's trying to look out for her to repay her father.

I watched it and I didn't get that Emily was the one that knocked the shrink over the head and locked her in the warehouse. I saw Emily w/the hood over her head looking at the warehouse, and I saw her put the key in the box; however, I didn't think it was clear who knocked her over the head and locked her in the warehouse. Did I miss something?

I agree!! About the other post on the ways the psychiatrist got in the storage; I don't care about little specific details watching a tv drama. I save that for documentaries.

Could the lawyer have been the one to put her in the shed... remember he left Victoria for about an hour after she got so upset... I am just wondering

I'd doubt that since her being locked in the shed tied in nicely as revenge for locking Amanda away all that time.

I do think he planned to threaten her - or worse - when he went to her office, but she wasn't there.

Very, very far fetched, but accept it for what its worth, and just enjoy the ride into fantasy.

I am loving this show. I also like that we get information as the shows progress.

Like last night, we found out why Amanda didn't get to see her father. Victoria saw her hiding and realized she had probably seen her take her dad's laptop and give it to her husband - so she couldn't risk Amanda telling her dad what happened before he was convicted.

I love this show as well. However, I also was disappointed in last night. It was too confusing. If Emily was the one to put the woman in the shed, then that is over the line. It is the mental revenge that made this an entertaining show. If it wasn't her, then come on, don't drag it out over 2 or 3 episodes.

This is one of my favorite new shows this season. I've never seen Madeline Stowe looking more beautiful and Emily is stunning.

The psychiatrist got was coming to her. She was evil with her treatment of Amanda. Hard so say who put her in the storage locker. When they showed Emily standing outside near the storage area, I figured it was her or someone she hired. At first I thought it was Victoria's bodyguard/lawyer. I don't know actually what he does. You know the old saying: Don't get mad, get even.

Not liking Daniel's college buddy or Jack's younger brother Declan.

I noticed the actor portraying Declan is also on Gossip girl. He plays the gay brother of one of the wealthy young ladies on that show.

I just assumed that Emily locked up the psychiatrist. It didn't show it but who else would have done it? No one else knows who she is besides the blond guy (Nolan?) and he has no vested interest in getting back at these people. Besides the storage room was set up to look like the room in the mental hospital that Emily was confined to when she was a child.
