David Schwimmer and Wife Have Baby Girl, and Her Name Is...

David Schwimmer has a new little friend.

The actor's wife, Zoe Buckman, gave birth on Sunday to a bouncing baby girl, and from the looks of it (Schwimmer tweeted a pic of the whole family together), she's a little cutie.

But what we really want to know is if Schwimmer's new girl is making Hollywood's list of weird baby names.

So what are they calling the tyke?

No Kal-el or Apple or Bear Blu here. This girl's name is the cute and normal: Cleo Buckman Schwimmer.

A spokeswoman for the actor said that she was born on May 8 in New York to Buckman, 25, a British photographer.

The couple wed last June after dating since 2007. Schwimmer, 44, last directed his second feature film, Trust, a dark film about a family torn apart by a sexual predator, starring Clive Owen.

The actor told E! back in September that he would wind down after the hard work by hanging with his missus.

"Hanging with my lady and laughing and going for dinner and a movie and playing poker with some buddies," he said of how he relaxes.

The duo met in when Schwimmer was in London working on Run Fatboy Run, his first feature film directorial debut.

I didn't know he had a wife, much less a baby. And wonder of wonders, they gave her real name. I guess there are too many babies named Cactus-Delight in Hollywood....LOL

By the way, thanks for the laugh! I haven't seen her in ages. I wonder if she's still alive?

Cleo is a bassett hound to me.

Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a h ell-broth boil and bubble.
William Shakespeare

I love bassett hounds. We found one once and we were going to keep her until we saw a missing poster put up by her owner.

Who's bassett hound?

Robert Cummings had a show in the 50's about his bassett hound called "Cleo". "Love That Bob" 1958

Yes Cleo and Cooper co starred. I remember it a bit, first time I saw a mobile home, I believe Cummings character lived in a camper.
