Tony Little Micropedic Sleep Pillows

Started 1300540919.243 in Viewpoints | Last reply 1301132748.19 by MalteseMomma

If you own these pillows, please share your reviews.

They are pricey, but if they will help my neck and keep it supported while I sleep, the cost will be well worth it.

Thank you so much for your replies,

I have the travel pillows- and they're great for that extra support you might need for your neck. They do keep you cool also! Haven't decided yet if I'm going to splurge for the full size.

I've had three sets now and like them very much. My only complaint is, the regular size seemed to breakdown much quicker than the jumbos. If that happens with the new jumbos I haven't started using yet, not sure if I'll make the investment again.

An aside, when I'm ready to start a new one, the old one becomes a dog bed. Both of our guys like them a lot.

Bought 2 small ones for my wife. She loved them. When the Jumbo's were the tv, bought the pair for her. Gave one to her mother and her mother liked it so well she bought herself a pair of Jumbo's, and gave back the one my wife had given to her.

Since I sleep in a lounge chair, no pillow does much of anything for me unless I am using it on my lap for some reason.

My wife and mother-in-law highly recommend them, and that is good enough for me.

We love them! My husband has problems with his neck, and he won't use any other pillow. Highly recommended!

maybe this is the exception to the rule, but i trust this man for selling pillows as selling me the next bridge. just don't. but if they were sold in a dept. store, i am sure they are wonderful.

I love them, BUT They are not cooling. If you sweat at night, so will they.

Wish it, dream it. dare it, do it!

They say don't use the pillows without the cover. When the cover is on, the pillow is too high for me.

I ordered them once, but returned them. I thought they were hot and were just not what I needed.

But they seem to be very popular.

I love them! They come with their own pillowcases. I sleep well. I have tried so many pillows in the past, looking for the best one and I found it. I take it with me when we travel (by car) and use my own pillow at the hotels. Can't do without them. I recommend them.

I have Tony's and this one from QVC H166607. I have neck problems and these are the only pillows and am able to sleep on without it making my neck hurt.

I LOVELOVELOVE mine. But get the large size as the standard is small.

They offer great support but they are really hard. Once I place my head in mine, I can't rearrange the pillow at all because there is no give. I use it only occasionally if my neck is really hurting, other than that, I use my regular pillow. Mine doesn't keep me cool either. If I sweat or am hot, the pillow is the same way.

They feel nice but they hold heat and get hot. We keep the house COLD at night, I mean 55, but these would heat up and by 1 a.m. I was throwing them off of the bed. I won't be able to stand them at all for summer. Way too expensive for what they are.

We have had the Jumbo ones for a couple of years now, and love them. It's the only pillow my DH will sleep on. Both DH and I have neck/shoulder issues and so we need soft support.

I thought I might try the smaller one, and then I found these at Amazon called Pike Street Micro Bead pillows here and they're almost identical to the smaller version Tony sells...and they're a lot cheaper ($29.57). I didn't care for the cover on the Pike Street pillow, so all I did was buy a set of the replacement covers in the smaller size that Tony sells and it works great with the Pike Street pillow.

I will say that I think the Pike Street pillow seems a little more denser than the Tony Little Jumbo pillow. But I like both versions of the pillow, just really like the Pike Street price better.

I use a regular pillow case on mine and find this does not get hot. I am a side sleeper and love that I can adjust this pillow in between my neck and shoulder for support

I have one, I love it. It was offered once at a really low price and I wish I'd bought two, not just one. I'm too cheap to buy more at their current price :-)

I have Tony's pillow but I also have a similar pillow I got from QVC, and I much prefer the Q pillow.

I have the regular Tony Little Homedics microbead pillow and I find it too stuffed with beads. I wish this were a flatter and softer pillow.

I do have the smaller travel pillow as well and that's what I'm using as a regular pillow. I don't like overstuffed big pillows because they do tend to bother my neck and shoulders. The travel pillow is probably about a 3/4 the size of a regular pillow.

Is the micro bead pillow anything like a memory foam pillow in the way it performs? I don't mean to hijack this thread but it's a related question & Tony compares the 2 pillows in his presentation. I thought people who actually tried the two will be truthful to how they compare.

I've had memory pillow before and I could never really get used to them. I didn't find them comfortable because I'm a side sleeper and those usually had a raised roll on them that just didn't fit my head and neck very well. I think the memory foam pillow that I have left is only used as a guest pillow if that helps!

The "bead" pillows are nothing like memory foam.

OMG....I have the SOBAKAWA PILLOW {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} ( little beads) and I LOVE it.They are wonderful.I cannot rave enough about it.My DD bought me a small one for my BD and I said," what is this thing? " thinking I wouldn't like it at all,but I fell in love with it immediately. The whole thing forms to your head,neck,what/where or however ever you like it.

My ear always hurt when I lay on my side and now I can form my pillow( by making a little "ear" dent ) any way I like it,(not so with memory foam) so it doesn't bother my ear at all and I can sleep on my siide again. So I bought the regular size myself.I much prefer it over the memory foam pillows.Memory foam only returns to it's normal state it doesn't really "form" to anything like the SOBAKAWA PILLOW

Item # H166607 for the regular size,about $33.00, they also have them in the curved small size like my DD got for me and in Queen and maybe King size. Check it out,right here on QVC {#emotions_dlg.wub}
