Barbara Walters - The View

Did you notice her outfit today? I really liked her silver sweater set she had on. The same with her silver earrings. I'm not sure I would wear it, but I loved the color.

I liked Elisabeth's skirt, too. I think she wore that before. Maybe it's one from her own line.

I thought Barbara looked great today too.

I, too, thought Barbara looked lovely today - refined and elegant, but wearing a style many of us would like.

ITA. Kept looking at it and thinking how much I liked it.

I think she also had her hair cut. She did look great today and says she always wears her own clothes, whereas the others don't. She once said that since she's not on the show every day, she has enough clothes so that she can wear her own..... I think Whoopi wore the same outfit yesterday...... (and last night as Joy's guest).....

Susan Graver used to do metallic twin sets but this year this is all I found and I think it's from last year A107336

I loved Barbara's outfit and her double rows of silver/grey beads today, I made a note in my clothing file to look for a similiar outfit.

I have a file that I keep outfit ideas in, when I see one that is for my body type and in a color that would flatter me.

I get my inspiration from magazines, in real life when I notice a stunning outfit that would be "me", or in the Barbara case, on tv.

Very pretty. Expensive though.

I had The View on today, but I was distracted by Elisabeth's big earrings and how she kept interrupting Barbara -- and Barbara called her out. I do think Barbara generally looks good.

I agree....I think Barbara seems to be losing her patience with Elisabeth's constant interruptions lately. I've noticed her "scoldings" on several recent shows.

Yep, I wondering if Elisabeth's new "contributing segments" job on GMA could mean her days are numbered at the View?

I don't know but yesterday E seemed inappropriately angry and wanting to strike out. She reminds me of a family member who talks over others and gets louder and louder to drown others out in a discussion. E was given subtle clues at first to tone it down from Barbara and missed them all.

I've always liked how Barbara dressed and accessorized. She has a lot of beautiful jewelry.

E should have just walked off!!!! LOL

They all interrupt - E has no edge there. Joy is louder than anyone at that table and possibly the most rude.

Barbara's outfit was gorgeous.

Not a fan of BW, but I do think she dresses quite elegantly. I especially njoy her jewelry collection. She's got some classic gold earrings, necklaces and pins that are quite interesting.

She has gray on today as well. A ruffle front sweater/jacket. Very nice. I notice her earrings are looking like a white enamel w/coral pattern. Very interesting.

I like that outfit too.

Did anyone see Joy today on RR? I love the earrings she had on.....she wears them often on The View.....would love to know where she go them.

I have noticed Barbara doesn't seemed to be tolerating the constant interuptions and talking over that they ALL do on the show; she's been letting them know lately. Maybe on her time off, she watched the show and noticed what a circus it is when they all scream over each other, interupt, etc. Teaching some civility would be beneficial to all of them.

I have also noticed that Barbara seems to be a little more forgetful lately. She is in her 80's (81) and that is OK. It may be time for Barbara to spend less time in front of the camera. She has been a doyenne of the TV Media for years, and she has helped establish women in the field of media. We have a great deal to thank her for.

Elisabeth did it again, today -- so disagreeable. She's way too serious and stern and scolding IMO. She has to realize she hasn't done anything extraordinary aside from winning Survivor and being a cohost on The View for the past however many years. I do agree that perhaps her new gig on GMA is making her take herself too seriously.

In fairness what have any of them done outside of this show? They are entertainers, not brainiacs. She is passionate in her beliefs and that means she takes herself too seriously? Did you feel that way about Whoopie and Joy walking out based on how strongly they felt about what Bill O said? This is a gabfest plain and simple. None of them will save the world.
