Hi all,

I am not much of a cook but just ordered the Ninja blender so that I could fix myself my healthy veggie and fruit smoothies. Was disappointed to know that the blender does not come with any recipes. Would love for you better cooks to share some with me.

Thank you, Camarillo, California

I bought my Ninja Master Prep at the black friday sale in Nov. I bought it to make smoothies and found a ton recipes by googling. My favorite is banana. It is fantastic with ice cubes so of course I make margaritas. I really don't need it for cakemix, potatoes or ice cream.

My latest smoothie is frozen bananas, pineapple chunks and organic coconut juice. Sometimes I also like to add a spoonful of organic extra virgin coconut oil to it as well. You can add berries (I keep them in the freezer for smoothies) also but this one tastes just like a pina colada!! Yummy!!

I just use sliced fruit, sugar free almond milk, protein powder and ice - my daily breakfast

That sounds delicious. You could even add a handful of spinach to that and the only change will be the color, not taste. Healthier than just the fruit. You could also add rum!Wink

I make a smoothie every morning (for 2) with: approx 1 c. OJ (Maximum Pulp) &/or part OJ part V-8 Fusion; 1/2 banana; few chunks or abt. 1/4 c each frozen fruit (any combo of peaches, blueberries, raspberries, pears, apples, pineapple, grapes); large TBS of plain no-fat Greek Yogurt, and big handful of spinach. Very refreshing and filling.

I buy the "marked down" bruised fruits and chop them up and freeze them in ziplock bags. Economical and no one sees the bruises after my VitaMix sees them! LOL
