I am interested in doing things easy this year. I may have it catered. It would probably cost the same, although I haven't decided. I have to make up my mind soon. What are you planning on serving? Maybe we can get some good ideas from one another.

We are going to my sister's home. She's having a traditional ham. Mom is making cheesy potatoes. I'm making fresh Polish sausage. I also picked up some beautiful Polish wooden painted eggs for everyone.

It depends what is on sale at my local Vons. Either turkey or prime rib. Twice baked potatoes,spring vegetables, fruit salad, home-made rolls~~and strawberries over meringue nests with whipped cream~~

I am starting with deviled egg chicks for an appetizer (see other thread-so cute!) making baked ham with pineapple/brown sugar glaze, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, and rolls for dinner. Strawberry cheesecake and rocky road brownies for dessert.

Every day for us something new, open mind for a different view –and nothing else matters….~Metallica~

Here's my plan - Deviled eggs, ham, potato & cheese piroghis (bought from a local church...will cook on Sat and re-heat Sun), peas, pineapple casserole, salad and baked yams. Oh and Italian Easter bread that I'll make on friday.

Absolutely! I'll have to post tonight because it's at home. The recipe I use is from my mother-n-law and is similar to what my grandmother used to make. This recipe uses anise seed. I'll post tonight :)

I'm not fired up as my mom is cooking stuffed chicken breasts from the Q. Anytime she has used Q food, my husband and I have not been impressed. *Sigh* Sooo, not looking forward to the food portion of our Easter celebration!

Snow subscribing because I have very few ideas! {#emotions_dlg.crying}

We're not big on ham, so I'm thinking of getting 1lb from Honey Baked as a compliment to steaks or turkey. I know it's pricey but I've never been disappointed.

It was snowing yesterday so Spring seems a little distant!

I'm making ham, tomato chutney, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, cucumber/onion salad, fruit salad, cornbread muffins.

And for dessert, chocolate raspberry cake for my son's birthday! He will be 21 on Monday but will be leaving Sunday night to go back to college.

Happy Easter dinner everyone.
