I just tasted my bean soup in the crockpot and it tastes "salty".

I put TWO ham hocks inplace of the usual ONE. And I used "black forest" deli ham.

TIA

I have heard that if you add potatoes, that helps. I put potatoes in my bean soup anyway.

Any pasta/potato addition will help. If you are doing a basic broth I would add potato. If you are going more in the tomato based direction, I would add elbow macaroni so it would be like a minestone type soup.

I just take some of the liquid out and add more water.
