I use the recipe on the box of Domino Confectioners Sugar. It's very similar!

Thanks Baggirl. We don't have Domino Confectioners Sugar in our local markets. Could you please share your recipe with me?

Buttercream Frosting

A list of ingredients you will need:

1 - (1 lb.) pkg. Domino® Confectioners Sugar (approx. 3 3/4 cups)

1/2 cup - butter or margarine, softened

3 to 4 tablespoons - milk

1 teaspoon - vanilla

Instructions »

Combine in large bowl, with mixer at low speed, confectioners' sugar, butter, milk and vanilla.

Beat at medium speed 1-2 minutes until creamy. If desired, add more milk until frosting is spreading consistency.

Makes enough to fill and frost 2-layer cake, 13x9x2-inch sheet cake, or 24 cupcakes.

Hi,

Speaking of these cookies, I got an offer to try 6 of the Cheryl's cookies for free, but, they want me to pay the shipping of $6.95 in order to get the 6 cookies free. Well....the way I see it, that is over a dollar per cookie ----- are they worth it? I have never tried them but I am thinking of taking this "free" offer (that is not free, after all). TIA

I ordered them last year at Easter time. They were very good but, seeing as they really aren't free... is it really a deal??? Perhaps it's worth it if you want to give them a try. I had the sugar cookies with the buttercream frosting . What does the "free offer" consist of ? Some of the cookies they offer don't appeal to me !

I was in the Cheryl's store a couple of weeks ago. The cookies are 1.50 each. I got a heck of a deal on them. They had a box of 48 assorted cookies for 24.99, regulary 52.00. They were still fresh, they just had several of the frosted sugar cookies in the pumpkin shape and were trying to get rid of them so they could bring out the Christmas shaped ones. They were still good and fresh and I brought them home and froze them. When I want a cookie I just pop one in the microwave for a few seconds. It came to about 50 cents a cookie. I love Cheryl's cookies and would love to find a recipe that tasted like their frosted sugar cookies.
