I am in need of a recipe using cream of celery soup and chicken using any cooking method ( (crock pot, stove top or oven) with rice or something else. Can you help me out? Thanks!
When I make green bean casserole I use cream of celery soup all the time.Cream of mushroom soup does not got any flavor and I don't like mushrooms. A friend of mine gave this idea to me many years ago and have been doing this way ever since. It does really make a difference.
You can substitute it for any of the cream soups......chicken, mushroom.
Hi, elizabeth k: LilBitMissty posted one at the start of this year in our monthly game.
Celery Potato Casserole - lilbitmissty
Celery Potato Casserole
2 pounds potatoes (about 4 cups) peeled and cut into 1/2 inches slices
4 cups celery
1 can cream of celery soup
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
8 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
2 cups frenches fried onions
Place potatoes and celery in a large pot of water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 15 minutes or til potatoes are tender. Drain and return to pot. In a medium bowl combine soup, sour cream parsley, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir soup mixture, half the bacon and half the onions into the potato mixture. Spoon into buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining bacon and onions over the top of the casserole and microwave on high for an additional 2 minutes.
For a super quick and delicious New England clam chowder I combine a can of cream of celery, a can of cream of potato, a can of chicken stock and a can or two of chopped clams juice and all. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 min till all ingredients well combined. Season to taste.
If you go to Campbells Soups website you can search for recipes by ingredients. You should be able to search cream of celery soup and I'm sure recipes using chicken also would come up in that search.
Go to the food network website and look up Paula Deen's chicken and rice casserole recipe. It uses chicken and cream of celery soup. I have made this several times and it is good. Sorry I don't have the recipe right now and can't quite remember it, but that is where I got it.
BAKED CELERY CHICKEN (Serves 4)
4 chicken breasts (boneless & skinless)

Place chicken breasts on top of mixture and dot each piece with butter, salt and pepper. Cover and bake in preheated oven @350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
