I have to say for a first time buyer with QVC, I learned quick this is not a company I want to deal with. I ordered a Ipad on June 19thfor a birthday present. When ordered said approximate delivery June 26th, said great this would give me enough time her birthday is on the 28th.

I checked the status of the order on the 22nd showed a label was created for shipping on the 20th and there was no further info given,

I quickly contacted customer service who told me the same thing as on the screen.

I asked if something could be done to follow up on this and they explained that QVC only deals with outside vendors and have no way to contact them,

I asked for a supervisor he gave me the number to corporate.

Spoke with a supervisor there who said we stand bye the system even though it has not shipped its still not late.

I again asked for someone to follow up again cannot do it.

I contacted corporate headquaters spoke with some one from the office of the president, she gave me the tracking number and said to check it over the weekend this will give me something to do, anything further she was unwilling to help.

I asked for the order to be cancelled and she replied no problem,

cancelled the order she then calls me back to say she was able to determine the order shipped,

this is the most disheartning company I have ever dealt with,

I would never purchase from again,

It does get really frustrating sometmes. There are so many stupid glitches in their system. I had a similar problem with some Vera bradley bags a while back. I guess they ship from the Vera warehouse and not QVC's. I cancelled them because they were available when I ordered them, then next day they showed in backorder where they stayed for about a week. I was tired of waiting and called and had them cancelled. Sure enough a few days later they shipped out to me anyway after I had reordered them from the Vera bradley website themselves. argh.. lots of stories like these when dealing with the Q.

Oh yeah, shipping can be a major hassle. On the flipside, I have had very positive experiences (overall) with the actual CS folks who answer the phones. To the degree they are empowered, it's my experience they try hard to help. But yep, the shipping system could use some attetion.

Yes, Rob....we all have had our shipping nightmares...and sometimes returns are worse...However I have always had a good experience with c.s.....though I wish they had more product info, at their fingertips, then they do....

I had a bad experience this week. Last week I ordered a pineapple/coconut coffee cake. I just got an email saying my strawberry cake had shipped. When I called they claimed no responsibility for the mistake as it was an online order. If it was placed with a representative they would have fixed the problem. When I get the cake I plan to return it.

Don't spend the money to return it. With food errors, just call CS and they will credit it back to your account.

And to the OP, please be advised that QVC uses Pony Express. You will do much better with Amazon, both with shipping and price.

When I call CS, I hit the "O" button. They are always very courteous and helpful.
