My daughter got some at Sam's and said it didn't work well, but her dog is around other dogs that have fleas so I'm wondering if that may be why. ok4ablonde21345389875.238704 PostsRegistered 3/9/2009Midwest Kirkland is sold on Amazon and gets very bad reviews. Check with your vet. There are many over-the-counter tick and flea treatments that are actually harmful for pets. I remember a vet telling me that some treatments for dogs could actually be harmful to cats that were living in the same household. To clarify....the cats were being poisoned by the treatment that the dogs had been given. Hartz is a big offender. I wouldn't trust Kirkland pet products at all. Their pet foods were part of the last recall from Diamond Pet Foods. If I may give my 2 cents - I dealt with fleas last year. It cost us upwards of $700 before they were gone and I was using heartguard. It was a nightmare. I wouldn't skimp on flea meds and I also now apply all year, the exterminator even suggested that. I had to have the exterminator come a few times cause those darn things just didn't die! Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it ~

My vet now recomends a new one Vectra 3D .You put in on like Frontline but in a line down their back from neck to tail.It kills everything even bed bugs......lol BUT,I'm afraid to use the new one on my tiny Maltese,so I'm sticking with Frontline!! Sorry, I meant Frontline & Advantage. Used both. Now use Revolution which covers everything including heartworm. Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it ~
