Has anyone tried the new Pet Armour flea control medicine they are advertising, its suppose to have the same ingredients that Frontline Plus does..
Came here looking for a response to the very same question! Have one dose left of Advantage for Cats & wondered about what's been advertised, whether it's safe & reliable.
Thanks for any input!
I saw a commercial for this last night for the first time. Yes, it's the same ingredients as Frontline, but it's manufactured in India so I wouldn't put it on any pets of mine. I figured since this is put out by WM, it would be either China or some other foreign country. It's not worth it to sacrifice the safety of my pets to save a few bucks.

From India ..... yikes, forget it... I will continue to get it from my vet.

I just asked the same question over in VP..........and now I just saw it is made in India. Yikes is right..........I know it's only sold at Walmart & Sam's Club. It figures.

My daughter purchased pet armour from Sam's club. 2 of my dogs were treated with it 3 weeks ago. So far I have seen no fleas or ticks. My other 2 dogs were treated with K-9 advantage the same day and I do not notice any difference. Since I have 4 dogs I will probably buy pet armour again!
Sam's Club would not sell it if it wasn't safe.
Lots of our (human) medications are also made in India. As long as the quality control is there I don't think it's an issue. To the people who have purchased it, how much cheaper is it than Frontline Plus?

I purchased the PetArmour for puppies last Friday and put it on our 5 mos old Mal-Shi who did have fleas. We also sprayed the house and vacuumed but as of today he still has them. Not sure how long it takes to kill them but with Frontline they would die off within a couple of days. My previous shih tzu had them and I used Frontline Plus on her and she was good in a couple of days. I have always bought Frontline Plus (My English Mastiff has always used it) but I had heard good things about this so I tried it. I don't think that its a bad product just because it hasn't worked on my dog, but just wanted to give my two cents.
Will probably wait a couple of weeks and go back to Frontline for puppies. (Going to call my vet to see how long I have to wait).
