Has anyone tried Jack Lalanne juicer or Montel Williams emulsifier??

If you have, do they work the same as a blender or better?

Does the juicer really make juice from veggies? Does it use the whole vegetable, or do you have pulp left over?

What about the emulsifier?

I'm just wondering because I was talking to my son on Sunday when watching the emulsifier. I told him I was thinking of it for his wife for Christmas and he said he thinks she would like it and he would like it himself.

After he said he would like it himself, I thought about it for his birthday this Sunday. But I would hate to pay all that money and see it not work any better than a blender.

I have a Jack LaLane Juicer. I use it a lot for the many lemons we get on our lemon tree here. I have juiced other things but mainly use it on fruit. Yes it leaves pulp, some things more than others. I like it. Works easily and celans up w/o much fuss.

Only advice I can provide is that Montel's emulsifier (Health Master K27291) has a number of bad product reviews on the Q's website.  So before investing that much money, I suggest reading the reviews and researching similar products.

Thanks both of you for answering.

StylishLady...I have a vitamaster from at least 30 yrs ago and it makes juice, but a lot of pulp leftover. I consider that waste becuse you can only eat meatloaf so many times a month.

EmmyLu...never even thought about reading the reviews, I just saw how everything emuslified. Good idea!!

I have the Montel healthmaster and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I really don't understand the bad reviews.  I use mine almost every day and have had no problems whatsoever.  Smile

You should take a look at the Breville juicer Item 123525 after I finally got it I have not stopped using it . The only problem is clean up dishwashing will not clean it . But, I think that is a common problem with all juicers . This has a high powered motor that will do whole fruits and veggys. I use it about twice a week you will Love it

I have the Jack LaLanne juicer.  It's powerful, works well on all kinds of veggies (I like fresh carrots, beets, etc.)  It's large and sorta heavy, but I like it very much.  It does leave some pulp discard, but that's normal.

Elaine La Lanne (Jack's wife) wrote a book about juicing that includes recipes you can use for the left-over pulp. It's called "Total Juicing".

All I can say is check the specs and what does a book about what to do with the pulp have anything to do with how good the juicer is? You can pay more and get less or not that is the question. Do not let the name "jack" have anything to do with your decsion . Buy a juicer for what it does not who tries  to sell it

I mentioned the book because it was brought up in someone else's post that the juicer left behind a lot of pulp and some might find that to be a deterrent.
I thought maybe the OP would like to include it with the juicer if she DOES get it as a gift.

Rude much?

I have both & love the emulsifier. All the pulp is wasted with the juicer. You use everything with the emulsifier, and you can make soup, ice cream etc.

I won't order the emulsifier--just too much money for a product with so many bad reviews.
