Owl flatware

I just saw the picture of the fork on the Rachael Ray's dinnerware set. Does anyone know the item number or any details about the flatware?

I think they are keeping that secret until tomorrow. Doesn't show up anywhere online. I think that is what is known as a "teaser" in the TV business.

It is cute. Not interested in the dihes, but that flatware might get me.

I think QVC missed the boat on this one. Cute flatware but not what a person would buy for big family/company dinners. I think you use the "good stuff" then.

I would have jumped at the chance to buy service for 4 or 6 of these for casual when it's just Dh, me and the kids/grandkids. But not going to spend over $100 on a novelty. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

H193540... It's there and it's adorable! It's also on 3 EP. I get it that a service for 12 in a novelty pattern might not be for everyone, but I might just spring for it. I find I always run out of flatware before I run out of dishes and usually before I'm ready to run the dishwasher, so even for day to day use, this might not prove to be too many pieces. And, it comes with a number of serving pieces. As for the price, if the quality is there, which, of course, will remain to be seen, I don't think it's bad for so many pieces. Of course shipping makes it a whole new ball game... They want thirteen bucks to ship it and so when you figure in tax on the whole enchilada, we're probably looking at closer to $150. Again Q, the shipping might be the deal-breaker...

I'm not buying, but I thought it was very cute. The design is nice and the little owl is soo cute! I would imagine that it is 18/0, so it's not like it w/b great quality, but I agre if somebody just wants a novelty set without high expectations it will it that bill.

The price, however, is another thing entirely. I guess if it turns out that it is 18/10 and it is a decent quality of 18/10 the price w/b in the ballpark. Methinks that's not the case, however.

I miss the old Cooks Essential 18/10 stainless, that they used to sell many moons ago......I have been using them for at least 14 years, and they still look like new{#emotions_dlg.biggrin} I would only use 18/10 myself, but that is because when I purchase something like that, I want it to last a long time, and not rust or pit, or show ware quickly....I have a set of Onieda stainless, that I use for special occasions, but with only me, and sometimes my dad, that is NEVER............The CE had clean lines, and does not bend in ice cream{#emotions_dlg.lol}

I Love it! We are a family of 6, so this is just perfect. So cute, but then I really like the whimsy of owls. Can't wait to get it. I ordered 6 sets of the little hoot dishes too. I just love this set!Last edited on 11/12/2011

Though I thought the owl dishes and flatware were cute I couldn't see my dh and the men in my family sitting down eating from "cute little owl" dishes and silverware. Nice if I lived alone but certainly not practical for family use. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

I can't afford it but I loved this flatware. The men in my family would have no problem having an owl on their flatware. The setting for 12 is great for a family plus the serving pieces.

I got the whole set I'm married and have 4 sons. They will not have any problem eating the delicious meals I cook on the cute little hoot plates, or using the hoot flatware :)
