Honeybells are only available for a few weeks, usually in January. Lucky for me one of the distributors, Cushmans, is nearby. They usually advertise in our local paper. I look forward to them every year. So sweet and juicy!

January. I had a huge honeybell tree at my old house. They'd be ready the end of Dec. but commercially they start selling them in January.

My Dad loves them so I let him plant the tree years ago. I would pick & ship to him. He would tell his friends he had an orange grove in FL. LOL My choice would have been navels but hey, he's my Dad. Smile

I've since sold that house so now I order directly from Cushmans for him. Never had a problem.
