I enjoy his shows too. HSN has improved their cooking programs.

I am very tempted by his rice cooker. I have a hard time getting fluffy rice. And I had no idea you could make so many things in a rice cooker...even cake

I agree-I normally don't like HSN, but love when W.P. is on...That man has so much energy and cooks up a storm...Love how he always says hi to his wife and kids too...and he makes everything look so good....

You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

His stainless steel cookware is great. They are tri-ply as is All Clad, but less expensive. I have both and cannot tell the difference in performance.

Not a fan of his. Not sure why, perhaps it was just the one show I watched where the other lady that was on with him (Not the show host) wouldn't let him talk. The show drove me nuts and I just turned off the tv.

I'm not a fan either. He does a lot of gross things, like Paula Deen, while cooking. But some of his products are decent. I'd stay from his electrics, though. They are pretty hit and miss.

His old stainless steel (it wasn't tri-ply back then, but just regular stainless steel with a tri-ply aluminum encapsulated base) cookware USED to be really good, but then they cheapened it up which was the way it always seems to go anymore, but still a shame.

I don't watch him---he grosses me out. The last time I did watch, the man was always putting his finger in everything and tasting the food and then that same finger went back in another dish. Then he would wipe his face or nose on a towel than use that same towel to wipe down the rim of the pan or the serving plate and actually give it to someone to taste. Gross!!!!!!!! And he was always sniffing and snorting like he had a cold. Nasty!!!!!

I've noticed that also. Don't like it.

I love Wolfie and seldom make it through a WP weekend at HSN without a purchase.

I have two WP rice cookers (a mama and a baby, use both), the Panini Duet, and the combo blender and mini food processor, love it all,,,,,,and his knives are unbeatable at any price, simply amazing.

Wofgang is a real chef, I love his enthusiasm and humor.

I wish my WP cookware would wear out so I could get a new set - the design is sleeker and the pieces are fancier now than when I got my set 8 or 9 years ago. The set they had yesterday was fantastic!

I have his "old" set of cookware. I bought it the year Consumer Report rated it as the Best Buy in stainless steel cookware. I think that was almost 10 years ago and it is still wonderful and I use it everyday.

I enjoy watching him and Emeril just to see what I can learn.

I really like the idea of his versacooker. I don't like the design of it though. It looks to big and clunky to me.

no, it's not tri-ply, it's got an aluminum base at the bottom of the pan. Right from the HSN web site:

"Stainless steel interior and exterior with aluminum disc encapsulated in the base"

ETA: Oops, I apologize, I googled, and he does have tri-ply, just not on HSN.

I did not purchase my cookware from HSN and will not buy any cookware that is not tri-ply. I did purchase the versacooker today on HSN; I have wanted this for a while, but I was waiting for a price reduction and it is a deal today. I like slow cookers, but want my meat browned, so I first have to brown it in another pot before I place it in the slow cooker. I hope this versacooker lives up to its claim. My son has his electric wok and loves it; he can even deep fry in the wok. Has had it for about 5-7 yrs and it is still going strong.

I will let you know how the cooker performs.

He had me cracking up today with bill....when he said bill should be fired for telling him how to cook...(just kidding of course)....and telling the camera guys to get the close-ups...I love him...

I enjoy his shows over there and its good to see a real chef in action.

He actually gives real tips and pointers for good cooking.

The hostess "Amy" seemed to actually know something about food and cooking, and was a delight to watch. No rolling the goo-goo eyes either.

The "Oooh" and "Ahhh" hostess with her "OMG!" exclaimations is a bit much after a while.

Todd English without Joy-the-Screamer is also fun to watch, when they allow him to speak.

I haven't bought anything over there for quite some time but still enjoy their chef's cooking shows... Smile

Years ago I bought one of his blenders. It didn't last very long. Swore never to buy anything of his again.

So yesterday I ordered the Versacooker together with the cookbook. Hope the cooker is better than the blender. But it has lots of 5 star reviews.

I enjoy watching WP-he is fun to watch and makes cooking look so effortless. I own his rice cooker, pressure cooker, food processor and his knives. His knives are marvelous. Don't know how he can make such high quality knives that sell at such a low price. Seriously, I like them better than my Henkel and wosthof knives. They are that good.

How do you like his food processor? My KitchenAid didn't last long and I have been wanting a new one.

My KitchenAid bit the dust so I purchased WP 12 cup last year. I love it-has tons of power and zip. So now I'm thinking of getting the 7 cup since it is on sale today only for $99.99 and free S&H. Recommend that you take a look at it http://kitchen-dining.hsn.com/wolfgang-puck-7-cup-food-processor_p-5445064_xp.aspx?webm_id=0&web_id=5445064&sf=qc&dept=qc0010&attr=181&ocm=QC|181|qc0010&prev=hp!sf!181&ccm=QC|181|qc0010

FYI - Amy's husband is a professional chef. She also presents when Emeril is there. He really enjoys working with her (actually by request even when she isn't normally scheduled).

The comedy of errors began when Wolf requested a big spoon and every spoon Bill picked up was incorrect. Bill got so unnerved that, had he not been so, would have looked up and realized that Wolf needed a fish turner just by what was in the pan. I felt sorry for the flustered guy.
