Honestly, I doubt it. Try Googling Bill Bixby.

My gosh, two people with the same surname....how often does that happen?

Well excuse me ladies but I've always wondered that, too!!  I used to wonder if she was his daughter................

I remember hearing or reading when The Incredible Hulk was popular that Bill Bixby had married a pretty young actress Brenda Benet. They had one child who died very young, and then Brenda committed suicide. Such a tragic tale. I believe that was his only child, unless he had one later, but I remember seeing him on a talk show when he talked about it.

Yes, very tragic truth to Bill Bixby and Brenda Benet, she was a beautiful actress on Days of Our Lives, they had split up, and soon after their 6 year old son passed away. She shot herself to death after that. This was in the early 80's. One of the earlier Love Boat episodes features Bixby and Benet as a young couple on the ship.

Do you remember the character that his wife played on Days? I use to watch that in the 80's daily? Very unfortunate account.

Yes, Brenda Benet played Lee Dumonde on Days from 1979 to 1982. She briefly married the Doug Williams character after he and Julie had gotten a divorce.

Thanks Shelbelle, my memory can't picture her, but I will figure it out.

If you do a Google search for Lee Dumonde there is quite a lot of info there that traces back the history of this character on Days.

It is amazing the twists and turns of some peoples lives, interesting but tragic.
