~ Diamonique or Bella Luce ~

Been watching the Jewelry Channel lately since the Q seems to have gotten so boring, and their simulated diamonds are called Bella Luce.

Can any of you tell me how these two compare to one another? Which do you think has more sparkle and shine?

Personally, I think BL has it all over Diam.. And JTV has much better prices too.

I think they're about the same. I only have a pair of lovely BL "tanzanite" earrings and I'd say they were as sparkly and shiny as my DMQ ...and my Absolute and Brilliante and most of my other CZ pieces (I have a few duds from no name brands from years ago when CZs first became popular).

Like Jack Benny, I'm 39 and holding ;)

I've gotten a pair of small tanzanite studs from JTV and also another pair of earrings, and I've been very pleased with both of them. Their prices are phenomenal and originally that made me think their things weren't very good, but the things I've gotten from them are very nice.

The Bella Luce is better, IMO, and definitely better pricing.

I haven't bought any DMQ or BL recently. But I have a large collection of both from years ago. I'd say the stones are comparable. Almost all the 'named' CZs are comparable and very good....especially in round cuts. These days what you need to look for is the quality of the settings of the stones. As gold and silver have gone up a lot in price, the setting have gotten thinner and thinner. This not ony makes it more likely a stone will fall out, but also cheapens the look of the item. So, I'd say, compare the settings as well as the prices. In the case of Q, I find the 'try me' items to have the lightest settings.
