Any Experts on QVC Jewelry Designers Marks?

Started 1310848749.887 in Jewelry Talk | Last reply 1311291284.67 by jewelsandgems

Are there any experts out there or web site to help identify QVC jewelry designers marks? I have a few pieces and I would love to know who made them but just cannot figure it out?

Thanks!

Have you tried googling them. I know it's a longshot but I bought a ring from JTV last year with the letters "BJC" in it and was able to confirm my suspicion that it was a Samuel Benhem ring after googling the letters.

I bought a Judith Jack charm bracelet several years ago from QVC, but I don't see any markings on it. I wanted to sell it on eBay, but how can I prove it is a Judith Jack? Any ideas?? TIA.

seems like the J with a mirror image J is the trademark for Judith Jack - in the picture below the trademark precedes the 925. hth...

I should have said to post front view and hallmark. If I see the piece I may be able to ID from remembering the item. Some of thise hallmarks don't look like designer hallmarks but just manufacturers marks.

If you want I'm willing to try if you post the front views also.

I'm no expert, but have been with the Q since the late 1980's :)

Perfect example of my knowing an item and not needing the hallmark to help...

The above chain and enhancer was available in numerous gemstone choices on the Q for a few years.

Haven't checked lately to see if it's still available, but it is not a designer set.

It was sold on the Q during many gemstone and silver style shows and was just an in-house (QVC) item. I had purchased one option but personally didn't like the black oxidation on the chain.

It does have a Yurman-esque look but sadly it's not a designer item. The only thing that knowing about the hallmark on this piece would do for you or someone wanting tobuy is being able to know what company manufactured this well known Q item.

I did look at the other photos and don't recognize any of the pendants as specific QVC "named" designer pieces.

ie: None are Ripka or Ann King or Barbara Bixby, just to name a few...

Sorry. I'm sure you wanted them to be known designer pieces.

jewelsandgems, those are some beautiful pieces of jewelry! I was hoping I'd be able to help you, but I didn't recognize any of those items. And I've been watching (and buying) jewelry from QVC since late '99/early 2000.

Not to be too nosey, but how or where did you get those pieces and what makes you think they are from QVC? Are you planning to sell them?

Seems star826 recognized that one item and was helpful in that regard.

Hope you find the answers you need.Wink

That citrine enhancer w/ chain is J00443.

I don't think those marks are "designer" marks. I think they are factory marks. I'm pretty sure the heart within a box is a manufacturer in China.

The "Oriental Symbol" one looks a lot like Affinity Diamond to me.
