I'm tempted because it comes in white gold. Need opinions before I hit the button.

oops, spelled vicenza wrong.

I was just looking at it. I love watches and usually I would be drawn to the white but with the gold face I am loving the black one.

Hi BB. It looks nice, but (JMO) the ceramic thing is "trendy." Personally, I would buy a cheaper version, but what do I know? LOL.

I think is is BEAUTIFUL... but a big investment in something as SarahW said could be trendy.

shoot, I can't even spell the correction right. I think it's time to hit the rack.

BaileyBop-I don't think it comes in white gold. Did you see it in white gold?

I think I am so tired that I can't see anything correctly let alone spell right. No, the color I am seeing is the color of the band. Which is a good thing because now I don't even have to decide whether or not to buy it as I don't like yellow gold. Sorry guys for misleading you. Yawn.....

Have you tried any online sites like swissreplica.net? Prettier and MUCH less expensive timepieces. Vicenza is marked up about 1,000 percent.

Comes in White Gold?? I'm not seeing that option. Unless you meant it comes in a White Band with a Gold Face? (personally from afar this watch looks like it could pass for a goldtone Gossip fashion watch.)

Either way, no I am not buying. Too expensive for what looks like a real thin ceramic band. The case looks very slim too. Not enough heft for me to justify that outrageous price. No doubt though, Lisa will convince viewers just how great this watch really is and by that it will probably sell out.

Not to mention, Vicence watches don't have a very good reputation around here. Heard they're a bear to get the battery covers off because the "gold" is so thin and most jewelers won't touch them to do that kind of work.

I don't like how Q has most items on Advance Orders! Sick of having to wait 3 months for Q to ship something out that I order now! By then, I'll be onto something else. No thanks. Advance Orders may suit other people but certainly not for me.

I am thinking about it...but why is the crown gold tone and not real gold? It is a nice looking watch.

I think the Fossil one or a Michael Kors is prettier. Don't like the gold face at all. Silver looks better.

I wouldn't buy it either. I am a Swiss watch sort of girl. I Also have a Gorgeous CROTON that my Ex got me many years ago..it was a fortune...but I love that watch, and the diamonds sparkle like crazy.

Better having the watch than him, LOL

Look around on other sites as someone else mentioned above and even check ShopN B C ...You can find good ones there.

One day at a time. It Is possible for those that Want it.

I got a white ceramic watch from ShopNBC 2 years ago, and since they're still popular, I don't think they could be called trendy. I don't like the face of the Vicenza one, and, as another poster mentioned, the ceramic looks flimsy. And it's too expensive.

I don't think ceramic watches are trendy. They have become classics. But that aside, this watch is pricey for a tiny bit of gold and a Swiss Parts movement. Not all ceramic is created equally, so I can't comment on the quality of the ceramic bracelet. But if anyone want to buy a ceramic watch, stop by the watch collectors thread, here on the Q jewelry board. We (the ladies who post) buy lots of ceramic watches, have our favs, that we know are good. Everyone is welcome. So stop buy and ask for info if you are looking to buy. We love to talk watches. It's a beautiful watch and definitely on my "want" list, but for now I must pass. If you're getting it, enjoy!

Stupid question here. But what is the ceramic band? Does it hold up? I have no experience with this material.

I hate the face, it's too big! This is why I would never consider it. I own a black cermamic/gold watch with a small retangle face and paid $285 for it three years ago. This is overpriced by at least two hundred dollars.

Yes forever! This is the same as the tiles on the space shuttle. Your jeweler can easily remove or put back in the links as well. Your wrist never sweats under the band. The ceramic never changes color and never scratches or chips. I love my ceramic watches. I just do not like big faced fine gold watches. This boyfriend watch face thing needs to go!

It is a tempting watch and I am not a watch person. However, the only gold on it is the ring around the face. The actual face of the watch and the Roman numerals are all goldtone. With tax and shipping it's going to be close to $600 and the only actual gold on the watch is the ring. If the face of the watch, etc., were gold, then the price tag makes more sense. Since it is not, seems highly overpriced. If you read the description of the item online it states what is gold and what is goldtone. I don't believe they actually explain that part on air.

Lots of MK watches on sale at my local Nordies- lots of colors which is good because the last thing I need is something else in a white metal.

I would never pay this for an item that is a trend and will be out of style before you know it.

I agree and disagree somewhat. Ceramic watches will not go out of style and you can get better looking ones for way less the money at many different places.

Yes! I thought the face would be gold, and was more tempted than I expected I'd be, until I read the description online. Talked myself out of it real fast. I can just imagine how miffied I'd be if I had ordered from just the on air presentation. I saw the presentation with Jill and the guy she had on with her made a big deal about how they made sure you could replace the band. I thought isn't that a very basic feature of a good watch?
