JBK show this morning.......

I love these shows, but this morning was a real dissapointment. Amy Strand (?) was so rude. She constantly interrupted Phillip to the point that he would loose his thought for a second......she even cut off and interrupted callers. I noticed that Phillip, a couple of times, just got to the point he would talk over her to finish the story. Very poor job on Amy's part, as that constant chatter was not necessary.....

IMO, she is one of several who should seek employment elsewhere.

The programs with that vendor are definitely shows where the host should NOT interrupt, even to ask a myriad of questions. That man is a walking history book and his stories behind the jewelry and the period are very interesting. I hang on his every word. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I did not catch that show.

I totally agree! I got up early on a Saturday morning, my only day off, to watch this show. I love listening to Phillip Katz, a walking encyclopedia of Kennedy history, only to find myself yelling at the television for the host to be quiet so I could hear the wonderful stories he tells. I skipped the 2AM show on Sunday because she was the host. Please QVC, choose carefully who you assign as hosts when JBK jewelry is on. Give Mr Katz a host who knows when to talk and when to be quiet.

Perhaps like most of us, Amy had heard his engineered versions of history so many times she had to interrupt to stay awake.

I, for one, look forward to and rather enjoy these JBK shows....I could listen to Phillip all day...he is quite knowledgable in everything "Kennedy"...and is very entertaining in his own right

I did find myself changing the channel, after just a couple of minutes....it was that "unenjoyable" with the constant interuptions with Amy

i totally agree--I love to watch Phillip and his stories--I wish that I could remember them---I try to hold myself to buying just one thing each visit--and have noticed time and time again how respectful the hosts are of him and how they let Philip talk with his stories--that is what his shows are about I think--like Lisa--Patti--etc...but Amy today was the exact opposite -she thought she had to sell the jewelry--and it sells by his stories-not her mouth--too bad as normally I like her very much--but not on the JBK shows--I hope she is not on again---

During the presentation of J150121, enamel bangle, Mr Katz on video tells the story of Rachel "Bunny" Lambert Mellon (born August 9,1910) as having passed away at the age of 99. Mrs Mellon is alive, she is 100 years old.

Her husband passed away in 1999. Mr Katz goes on to say that Mrs Mellon's husband Paul Mellon (June 11, 1907-February 1, 1999) was a "bit older than she", yes he was 3 years older.

ITA, that these items sell themselves. It's nice to see items made in the USA.

The chatterbox hype isn't necessary.

I think this host (Amy) is probably the most irritating and she's the only one who really bugs me. Nancy gets ripped apart a lot but she doesn't bother me at all. I don't watch Q all that much anymore but I will not watch any show that has this person hosting, no matter how much I want to see the items presented.
