Valerie Parr Hill on Facebook

Started 1327409031.04 in For the Home Talk | Last reply 1327589355.363 by mallemo

I must be a little dim, but every time Valerie has a show, she asks us to friend her on Facebook. When I access her page on Facebook, it says she only shares information with certain people and if I know her to send her a message. When I do that, I get no reply. Can someone enlighten me on how to friend her?

Do you see an "Add Friend" button on the upper right of her page somewhere?

Have you tried clicking it? I think that may be the way.

I could be wrong as it's been a few months since I joined and I don't frequent FB- only signed up hoping to get updates from certain vendors and companies.

HTH!

You have to send a "friend request" and then she accepts you!

I "friended" her several months ago....she really does pay attention to her page. I made some comment on a set of lighted pumpkins I had bought. They were beautiful, but one of them didn't work. I mentioned that I was still happy with the ones that did work, and that I felt like it was still worth my money. She sent me a replacement pumpkin!

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass.....it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't see an "add friend" button. I did send a friend request, but have heard nothing back. There must be a way, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Yes, I agree, which is great!

Victil, I hope you get the confirmation soon.

There should be an Add Friend button at the top of her page on the right side and all you need to do is click on that. That will send a request to Valerie for her to add you and she is usually very good about keeping up with her page. Is this the FB page that you visited for her?

Thanks, Mallemo. That's a different page than I was finding. It did have the "add a friend" button. Smile

You are welcome! FB is sometimes confusing and I only use it for various vendors pages.
