The Cardinal Flamelss candles from Kohl's

Started 1322415538.393 in For the Home Talk | Last reply 1323482219.867 by mallemo

I managed to track a few of these down from Kohl's in my area....and they are, without question, some of the prettiest flameless candles I've seen.

The cardinal is perfect and when lit, it is simply adorable.

Someone mentioned the 8 hour timer didn't last very long and that may be the ONLY drawback.

I'm going to place them in the transom area of my french doors....which currently have plain CI pillar candles.

That area is always kind of a black hole and begs for something lit....I did use lit votives one Christmas and they scorched the wood above and nearly ruined some very expensive windows.

Anyway, I digress....

The cardinals are just perfect....

So happy to hear that yet another person is pleased with these cardinals. They are so cute!

I was placing an order at Amazon earlier today, and decided to add a 5-pack of the SONY brand CR2032 button cell batteries to my order, for these cardinals. Amazon has larger quantities of 10, 25, etc. plus cheaper brands, but I'll start out with 5 SONY's.

Thanks for the info on these candles.

They're also available on kohls.com. They're already on sale and you can get another 20% off today using the code cyber20. And shipping is free on any purchase amount. They come to a little under $9 each, using the code.

These have been sold out online for quite some time now. I hope anyone who is interested might find them in their local Kohls store. They are very nice. Maybe they will restock them for next season.

When I go to Kohl's site and search for "cardinal candle" it pulls up the flameless candle and shows it in stock. Am I missing something?

still waiting for my cardinals to fly in. They shipped, just slow to arrive.

gidget, we are talking about a cardinal bird flameless candles, in the shape of a cardinal, not a pillar. Kohls sold out pretty quick once the info was posted here. Picture may not be up anylonger on the site.

This is the one that everyone is talking about....

They also have a flameless pillar with a cardinal design but it is the bulb style.

Here is the link to the original thread.

Mallemo, I told you recently on another thread that my cardinal candles were going strong after 6 days on the 8-hour timers. Scratch that! {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} Tonight, which is night 7, they have almost no glow at all. Those original batteries lasted barely a week. I'm so glad I have more batteries as I look forward to seeing these light up each evening.

I've had mine on for either 3 or 4 nights now so mine will probably die soon also. I have replacement batteries ready to go. They sure are cute.
