Is it possible to buy single sheets -- NOT a set? If so, where?

Anyone remember when sheets were all sold separately -- not in sets -- or did I dream that?

Many stores sell them as separates. I personally purchase mine at TJ Max, and Tuesday Morning. Sorry I just love a sale, and I really like having different color bottom sheets from my top sheet, with pillow cases that match both.

I've seen separates at Macys. I prefer sets & find they are a better buy.

Blast from the past, Strouds used to have a great assortment of linens. But they have been gone for years. Miss some of shopping choices we used to have.

Thanks! Our Tuesday Morning just moved into a much larger store and I've been intending to stop by there -- I will tomorrow to look for single sheets!

I do not use top sheets ever so I always try to find single fitted sheets. I got my newest one at Walmart for $8. They aren't the highest thread count (I think about 250) but it does not bother me. I hate buying sets and not using the top sheet.

I miss Stroud's. It was a Bay Area company, wasn't it?

This is interesting. I have only seen sheet sets lately. I dont use the top sheet either and that always goes to waste. I am gonna make a point to look for singles next time. Thanks for the reminder.

Several of you are not using the flat sheet and that's what I'm looking for!

LOL i have a blanket hog to contend with, so I always look for a spare top sheet. I hide it under my pillow, and when all the blankets have been stolen, I whip it out, and keep toastie.

I have bought single sheets for many years. Macy's, Dillards, Tuesday Morning, all sell them.

I found single sheets at Target, TJMaxx and Home Goods. You can find really good buys...I always enjoy shopping for a bargain.

Land's End sells just the flat sheet, just the fitted sheet, just the pillow cases. Or you can purchase a full set.

Our local Macy's sells some sheets that way too. Depends on the manufacturer.

I think LL Bean sells singles, not cheap. TJ Maxx does, those are cheap.

No sheets sold individually at my Target nor my TJ Maxx.
