I'm thinking about getting the Bissell carpet cleaner that has recently been aired over the past couple months and costs $79. If you have used it, is it OK to clean Royal Palace rugs? Also, does it take a long time to dry? I don't want to have blobs of water on my rugs and then it will take forever to dry. Any comments you have on this machine is greatly appreciated.
I've steam-vac'd my Royal Palace throw rug & when I called a professional company - he also steam-vac'd it. Came out beautiful. It doesn't get sopping wet.
just a little piece of advice from a bissell owner
they dont last
all you have to do is go online and type in bissell cleaners
buy a hoover, be smarter then I was

If I were you, I'd be checking local stores, like the big red "bullseye", the "--mart" stores, etc. Compare buying locally, including applicable taxes, with ordering from QVC where you also have to pay shipping & handling. Furthermore, you might get a better deal from that "---mart" store with wals because they do "ship to store" on many items that aren't stocked at your local store. No shipping charges & you just go over there to pick it up.
I love my Bissell steam cleaner! Just received it a week or so ago and I love how it cleaned my area rugs and traffic areas. Easy to use, the cleaner that comes with it goes a long ways and I don't know how I lived without one. It even got up loads of black laborador hair after my Dyson! You control how wet things get, and I found my rugs dried within about 1 hour.
For the price, it's grand!
Don't buy it I had that one for about 6 months it broke. Bought anothe bissell for a lot more it broke after a year. Now I have an Hoover. So far so good. Had the Hoover for about 6 months use it a lot. Have 6 cats. Robin
Thanks for all your replies, ladies. Sounds like Bissell is a real dud. I'll shop around for a Hoover. Can't go wrong with that brand.
