DG2 Jeans TS on HSN

Started 1341158632.62 in Fashion Talk | Last reply 1341357722.86 by pathces

I watched a little of the DG2 presentation this morning. Does anyone have these jeans? I can't wear jeans to work, like she keeps talking about, but I could wear nice jeans to church and such. Do these really run large? As in, how many sizes do you go down? The jeans I have now are a 10. Should I go down to 8, or 6?

Any ideas? Thanks.

I am not buying as I don't like the bootcut. I like the flared ones, and she rarely has those though--I think she calls them "fit and flare". I prefer a "bigger bootcut"-more flare at the bottom but not wide legged. I think her jeans stretch a great deal so I'd size down.

If you are a 10, I'd buy an 8. HTH"s.

ETA: BTW, this is a very good price for her jeans if you are interested!

I have five of her jeans...the skinny in grey, the bootcut in a plum, the truoser jean in chambray, and two velvet bootcut in peacock and purple. I love the fit and yes they are very nicely generous. They do not bag and they make my behind look perkier than it has in years.I love the trouser jean alot and am watching a white and black pair on ebay right now.I think that it is a nice dressier option,as it has a crease sewn down the front. The good thing about hsn is that if you do not get the fit right, they will send out another pair while yous till jhave the first. That way you can compare...which is noce if there is just a little doubt on up or down in size, etc. I like them enought to buy them again if I ever need jeans. But they are not my favorite brand...that is Saltworks Jeans.

Thanks to both of you. I may look at those again. I'm not crazy about the bootcut but hers is not big. I would prefer the straight leg.

I purchased them this morning and anxious to try them since my first DG2. My BFF has every color and every style and loves them and always looks fantastic. I stayed to my true size so hope I didn't mess up!

DG2 jeans are made for women who have a thicker waist. If you have a tiny waist and fuller hips they will not work for you.

If you are like me, more of an apple shape, they are fabulous. Another comparison for me is in the Levi Fit Jeans I wear the straight fit.

This is a good deal for her jeans. I am not buying only because I just bought a few pairs and don't need them right now.

I normally wear a 12 or even a 14 in high end jeans but for hers I wear a 10 for the bootcut. But if it says closer fit, I wear a 12.

I always buy my regular size in the DGs; since I toss 'em in the dryer they always fit just fine. I'm not buying any this time because it's too hot to think about jeans!!

I went on waitlist for the grey color and this will be my first pair.

I've had no luck with her jeans or jackets. For me.. The Talls are too long in the crotch area and the regulars are too short in the leg inseam. On the jackets, all the shoulder seams are too long and stretch out farther then the shoulder seam should to make a droopy shoulder. I did buy a t shirt several years ago and it was soft and well made and I still wear it.

It's hit and miss with her items. I've loved them in the past, but the last couple of times I ordered, they were too tight and too long. I tried again this time and ordered 3.

As a pear shape her jeans don't work for me but I also had the same problem as others. The talls are too long in the crotch but the regular length is too short for me to wear any type of heel.

I also don't like the fabric content of these jeans.

You can't buy love but you can adopt it. Adopt, don't shop.

I buy them...they are one of the few jeans that hold in my tummy without extra fabric around my bottom and thighs as I don't carry my weight anywhere but the tummy.

I have several sizes...and they all fit....kind of funny.

My waist is not "tiny" waist, but there is a ten inch difference between my waist and hip measurement. DG2 fit me well; they do not gap at the back waist. I am 5'7" and usually wear size 12 jeans. In DG2 I wear a 10. They have stood up well to washing. I air dry them, especially in summer, and finish off in the dryer if needed. They haven't shrunk. There are some inconsistencies in the fabric, but the ones I have are comfortable. If you can catch a special or a sale on line you can get some good values.

I have over twenty pairs of her jeans, in different styles. Her bootcuts are fantastic, they make you look slim. I am five ft. one and 150- 160. I wear a size 10-12, depending on the style.

Her leggings and jeggings are great. Unlike D&C, DG2 does not bag and sag, they keep their shape all day!

You can purchase all her jeans in tall, average, and petite!

Good luck with them.

Oh,at times I find the rise to be too short, just find the style that works and stay with them.
