Favorite former hosts...who do you miss???

Started 1299272509.613 in Fashion Talk | Last reply 1299693333.47 by BlondeBrooke

I am already missing Lisa Mason...and of course, Kathy Levine (as a host, not so much a vendor)....loved her shows with Joan Rivers.

Also really liked Judy Crowell...thought she was better on the Q than on HSN...kinda sad to see her doing "AAH Bra" infomercials!

Also thought Christa Pitts was a hoot....

It would be nice if Jacque got some more air time, also....

And now Patti is leaving...(my goodness, people are mean on that post!)

What do you think??

Lisa Mason...that's it...

You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

I am a WEN girl, a Geller girl, a Mallinista, and proud of it!!!

Paul Deasey! I enjoyed his shows so much and learned so much from him. QVC please get another REAL gemologist show host.

I started watching in the early 90's, back when it was fun and the hosts were quirky--I miss Kathy Levine, Steve Bryant, Mike Rowe, Steve Caluntino, Ron Maestri, Molly Daly, Judy Crowell, Paul Deasy, and more recently Lisa Mason. I'm sure I've forgotten some of the older ones.

I find I don't watch as much anymore--don't care for a lot of the current hosts-many are shrill and totally self-absorbed.

Just my opinion, of course.

Of the earlier hosts, I miss Judy Crowell and Kathy Levine.

I miss Lisa Mason -- she is a truly beautiful person and I wish Patti Riley all the best in her new endeavor!

Kathy Levin - in the early days. She was a hoot. Loved her with Joan Rivers. Hysterical!

Judy Crowell was a class act, always a lady, personable and very professional

This brings to mind a question about a host I have been trying to remember. It occurred to me recently that I hadn't seen her in awhile and it is driving me crazy that I cannot recall her name. Maybe somebody can help me remember?

All I can remember is that for some reason, I would get this lady and Jane Rudolph Tracy mixed up. I don't think it was that favored each other in looks, but perhaps they both might have had a triple name???? I keep wanting to say her first name might also have been Jane and maybe that's why I would confuse them.

It is bugging me so much that I cannot think of her name. It seems she had light brown hair that leaned toward being almost reddish and her hair was somewhat short but not short as in Shawn or the current Jane Tracy cut - just not shoulder length or long like Lisa Robertson's. Anybody????? Does anyone know this host I'm trying to remember?{#emotions_dlg.confused1}

I just can not see getting "close" to or missing a salesperson-? The hosts are nothing more than glorified salespeople. Doing a job- probably making jokes about the customers after work. Why get so personal?

It's not personal. Some of the Q hosts stink (in plain English.) The OP wants to know which hosts we miss because they were good hosts.

Why be so obtuse?

Well, they certainly take up a lot of your personal time considering how many negative posts you make about them.

you sure seem to have plenty of stalking time to rant about what I rant about{#emotions_dlg.laugh} What is negative about not missing someone anyway? Can someone not have an opinion that is not the same as everyone else? Why does everyone have to be nicy nice and not just plain honest here?
