Lets get some winter white pants in Denim & Co. cream or off white. People are sick of thse drab colors. White is great during the Hoilidays - anyone agree?

I'd love to see some true winter white crepe pants and even a nice knit pant! Especially nice for the holidays.

I agree, white/ivory/winter white are fabulous colors for the holiday. Well, not just the holiday, for winter in general. For many years, my winter dress coats were always winter white. I stopped when my sisters copied my....LOL

I have a pair of wide leg Linea crepe winter white pants from several seasons ago that I wear year around.

Back in October, I was lucky to get the Linea winter white contour waist pants A210354 and the coordinating 'whisper knit' turtleneck sweater in ivory. Of course, they were an instant sell out as they never order enough to meet demand!

The pants (gabardine and lined in winter white) also coordinate with the new Linea ruffle front cardigan with beaded trim A210364 that comes in ivory, and with the gorgeous ethnic embroidered topper jacket A210353 that comes in winter white with black embroidery, black with white, and red with black embroidery. (I wore the pants, turtleneck and embroidered topper to a party last weekend and received so many compliments!)

For an alternative that is still in stock in most sizes, the popular Lindea crinkle georgette boho skirt A70208 is available in ivory.

Edited to add that the embroidered topper and the new ruffle front cardigan also are stocked in most sizes.

I am on waitlist for the A210355 petite winter white contour waist pants and also for the midnight blue. Been on order since October 6. This is getting ridiculous how the buyers at the Q cannot stock Louis' inventory in any way resembling common sense. It is like we have to beg to be able to receive anything of his line. I doubt I will be seeing this order. Wonder when I will get "the letter" saying ....sorry, etc.

GalaGal: great suggestion.

many_hosta: I'm going to have to get my ivory boho out- I had put it away for fall, but it really would be nice with my black tops. Not many people where I live wear winter white. I'm going to go for it.

I have the new white ethnic jacket w/black emb. and love it!! The outfit you described that you wore the other night sounded so elegant!

I put that teriffic outfit together just as Louis showed it on October 18, winter white pants and sweater under the black with white embroidery topper, long black leather gloves, even my ivory beret. That combo would be great underpinnings for the black or cobalt blue tone-on-tone embroidered topper A210348, too. I intend to wear the pants and T-neck with my Linea ivory boucle 3/4 sleeve cropped jacket with the gold-rim pearl buttons. (I have vintage AK earrings that match the buttons.) All ivory, with a scarf or pearls. I love dressing up for the holiday season!

The only downside to winter white is that a person has to be very careful to keep clear of dirty road slush underfoot and on the car.

"dirty road slush"--yuck. Reason #1 why I'd never wear anything close to a white during winter when I lived back in central New York. It is not a problem down here.

I love wearing winter white, but it wasn't until this year that I finally got a pair of winter white slacks, the lined ones that many-hosta also got. I plan on wearing them on Saturday to a party with my black boucle cropped jacket with the pearl buttons! Will wear it with a black silk cami, the black and white pearls and onyx and 14k encased pendant on long chain and onxy/14k encased earrings. Three row pearl bracelet. That is, if I can leave my sick bed! Black leather ankle boots and black leather gloves. I also have the ivory T and any number of jackets can be worn over that base. The gold ball necklace would also look great with it. I see thaat with my new red cashmere ruffled front sweater.

Tristan, You don't see too much winter white here, either. I had a sweater set -tank with long cardigan- that I wore last year with black slacks and got many compliments on it. Would also look great with my Linea black velvet slacks. I plan on wearing my ivy boho skirt with leather boots with my spruce color blocked jacket. Also, my purple boho with boots with my purple suede killer jacket. the ivory ruffled sweater also looks terrific with a Linea crushed velvet boho that I have had for some time.

I love winter white, cream, ivory, etc. in everything. I have requested it several times from QVC. Just last week I wrote to Susan Graver to make sure her tops always have a white and/or ivory version. She had several beautiful tops on last week, but did not offer the colors I love. Cream color coats, jackets, pants and tops...they are all wonderful. Dark colors near my face just age me, so you will always see me with light tops. If I want color, I add a scarf or other colorful accessory. I know that dark colors are slimming, but as that great philosopher Zsa Zsa Gabor once said, "at a certain point in a woman's life, she has to choose between her face and her body." I choose my face I guess, lol.

I think winter white looks great in the cooler weather.

No, winter white pants or jackets for me -- white is a dirt magnet. The only winter white that I have a scarf and beret and both are washable.

Formerly poster TY, I had to register a new nickname TY1.

I am not fond of winter white, cream, off white, etc... When I chose to wear white, I wear blindingly white white.

I am currently in search of a knee length or longer white puffer!

Oh my; how positively lovely!

I do like winter white pants in season. Purchased a couple of pairs of D&Co pull on denim pants in winter white just a few days ago. They obviously aren't the dressy kind, but they look very nice, and I think they could be dressed up a bit if a crease is pressed in, etc.

I would also like to find a pair of dressier winter white pants. Have some slacks by Motto, which I really like and would love those in w.white.

I can't do winter white pants without thinking I'll sit in something although have worn a winter white skirt before...there's just something about the slacks though too much material with the potential to get dirty or have an errant thread landing there on the butt of course from a long coat. I can't even bring myself to wear a winter white jacket though I have a couple. I guess my inner tomboyishness overpowers my ability to relax and trust that I'll still have a winter white backside when I get home.

I just noticed that the Linea turtleneck sweater with embroidered bell sleeves A62177 in Ivory is available in size large. It would be beautiful for the holidays (anytime, really).

ITA! I LOVE winter white in the drab winter months as it really stands out from the sea of black/gray/brown. Of course, I live in a place where we don't have to worry about slush most of the time, so it's easier for me to wear. I've been told I look best in pastels, so I like to combine those with winter white wool crepe skirt or winter white wool flannel pants to create an outfit that is unexpected in the winter. Makes me feel happy and I think it complements my complexion.

I have already asked, hope this does some good. How many pairs of Black, Navy, Brown Khaki do you need????? Yes I have a couple black pairs & brown & Navy - I WANT SOME WINTER WHITE too.

Perkup - what is the D&C # for the winter white pants???

Yea, white will get dirty. That's why I have a washing machine & dryer. Oh, and Tide sticks.

I have these (A92678) and really have gotten a lot of wear from them. I understand that not everyone wants a pair of ivory crepe or winter white pants for winter, depending on where you live, what you do, what are your commutes, etc, but I love to have white pants for winter. I have several winter white or ivory pairs.

I was in Talbot's Saturday looking at a winter white jacket and the lady pointed out to me that they had it in camel which might be better since white was so easy to get dirty. I wondered why she would say that as I certainly did not appear (I don't think) unkempt nor do I live someplace that I should encounter weather that would post a hazard to the way I dress. Oh, well, I just thought that was bizarre. I told her I do not drink red wine so it should be fine.

Edited to add number.

Ugh. I have never understood white or off-white pants. They just seem...wrong. I mean, they are fine for nurses, but all others should not bother unless they are really thin. They just make a big butt look bigger.

I love winter white crepe pants for dressy occasions.

They go in the wash the same way my other pants go in the wash.

Sometimes they are tricky to find a great pair.

I agree with the majority. The pants look good.

If they are not for you, enjoy what you have; fortunately we have lots of choices.

I think winter white is a very classy, sophisticated color. I love it paired with camel and gold jewelry.

I don't own winter white trousers though. Keeping the bottoms of them clean from salt stains, even though I roll up my right pants leg when driving, would be a monumental task!

I buy expensive suits. They just look cheap on me.
