Renewal price for Sirius radio subscription......

I called today and got 2 different quotes and then went on to research on the Internet and found out that you can get it at a much reduced rate. What do any of you pay for Sirius radio for one auto?

3 years subscription renewal rate is $309.00 for DH's vehicle. We have a lifetime subscription that we paid $500 for our home.

Last year I paid $89 for a year (I had threatened to cancel my quarterly payment subscription). I see online it is now twice that but I plan on calling to see if I can get the better rate.

3 months free with my SUV from HONDA, but they came after me Sirus with a good deal 6 months for $30 or 1 year for $60 plus a month free. I also go the Howard package for less than $30 and the internet on all Android and PCs for free for 1 year. I am just giving this 1 year. It's nice to have but really in my HONDA the NAVI has iPod 64GB, USB-32/500GB or higher, SD Card 4GB max CD player then 2x FM an AM. That's alot along with the two XM1/XM2. I use the USB more than the Sirus. After year I won't renew another fad to sell SUV today.

If you do your homework online you can find some deals even Sirus CSP can make you any deals within limits you have to hold out longer on the phone. Otherwise whatever they can make off of you it what your stuck paying..

Good luck!

I am on the Premium Plan + Howard + Internet Sirus + Android Sirus how much that cost me little over $200 but hey just for the year. They had 6-months free with any plan during BF day just had to call them up.

I'm thinking about cancelling my subscription. I've had it in both cars for quite some time and I always end up listening to the same 3 channels. What does everyone listen t? Maybe I'm missing something.

My faves are 60's on 6, 70's on 7

My DH loves all the Techno sound

We usually take 2 years and subscribe on line, usually get 3 months free at the end added on.

At home I listen to 70s 60s and the tradition Christmas music. In DH's car he listens to Howard Stern (blech!) and a lot of other stations, 70s when I'm with him. I have plain old radio in my car.

We have XM radio in both vehicles and in our home. The one in DH's truck is a "roadie" so when we go home to Pa in the summer we move it over to the radio in the camper. all GM cars give you some time free at the start - can't remember how long - then after that you pay a larger price for one and each additional is less -$17.26/mo for the first one then $12.22/month for the second one then less for the third etc.

We like the easy listening stations and the Prime Country. DH likes to listen to CNN when we travel.definately nice when traveling you never lose the channel as you do with tradional radio.

It also came for 3 month's trial with our new car two years ago. DH said at first he would keep it if he was on the road a lot. After listening to 50's on 5, he decided to keep it for when I was in the car with him. I love the old tunes and it keeps me calm when we are driving around town and on long trips. The nice thing about it on long trips is not having to change stations every so many miles. DH listens to harder rock when he is in the car by himself. All in all, a keeper for us.

If you don't renew at the standard price, they soon come back with an offer that's 50% off. It doesn't take long for that to happen, it's worth waiting for the reduced price, IMO.

I just received a renewal notice for 3 years and almost fell over! They want $512.44 which includes tax and royalties! I do not get anything extra like Howard Stern. If I renew online or contact them directly, you are saying I will get a different rate? I love my satellite radio, but this price is crazy!

Cancel your account and wait for SirusXM to make your a better offer and they will. This is up to you. This is what I'll do. So I am paying just a little less than half of that $512 for the year with Howard Stern and Sirus Interenet Radio $230 roughly 1 year. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy my Sirus on all tablets and SmartPhones I have turned into mini tablet where Sirus Internet plays excellent. But I am not paying through the roof with these outragious prices like half a grand for 3 years. Listen your in control it's your money let them make you a better deal and hold out for that deal. That's what I did. Some of the CS are just plain rude. Hang-up and talk to another one and tell him or her how you were treated on the phone. I am sure they'll do right by you. Just have to know how to work the system as the system will not work for you unless you stand-up for yourselves.

There is free FM and you can make your own music if you have USB, iPod Touch or iPad it depends how creative you all are. You do need a good vehicle radio system in your car, truck, or suv, cv. SirusXM run to use but the cost is high for it. Just have to do your homework and get the best deal.

The Grove

Jazz

Electric

Howard Stern

I listen to these more.. Depends on my mood. I have way to much sports stations I don't even use. Howard Stern package does come with Adult Dirty Talk so if you got kids or your not into that type of listening you might want to opt out of that!

I got 1 year free with my new car..I was thrilled because, even though I was one of the first subscribers years ago, I hadn't had it since Howard moved over..in the last 11 months I have listened to Stern maybe a total of 45 minutes..I still like him but I find the show boring and redundant..I like the Fox channels and, of course ,60's and 70's..but when I got a renewal notice for 100's of $'s, threw it out..when the free time is over, that's it !

We have it in the house only...love the Escape channel.

You opt for the 1 year of service though the dealership I decided to get those $500 bucks fog lens for free and some other perks. Sirus already came with SUV though. Like you I use to listen to Stern on the free radio. All the hoop-la when he had left for Sirus/XM. Yes your right the show is so borning and what's up with all these commericals he runs. Fad is dead with him now. He should have stayed on free radio.

we too like easy listening and prime country as well as the 60's. We just today got a notice to renew for $25 for 6 months. We paid $75 for a year last year but they started out at $180 for a year. I told them no way would I pay that and if they can give me a much better deal to call back, today we got a letter, 6 months for $25. We have it in 2 cars but one is good yet from the dealer.

My subscription just expired and I received an email with a price of $94 and some change for 6 months.

I called and them I had to cancel as I couldn't afford. Then I was asked if I could afford $50 and I said no. So I got 6 months for a total of $27.
