Amazon, Walmart, Staples, Best Buy, Target, Radio Shack, and many, many other retailers all sell them. QVC is owned by Liberty Media which recently invested a fair amount of money into Barnes and Noble so they'll only show B&N e-readers here until that investment has been repaid. Fly! Eagles! I have had such good customer service from Amazon, I think when I DO MAKE UP MY MIND FOR A READER I will stick with the Kindle. And on Amazon, no tax, no shipping. gardenman1325516034.5413869 PostsRegistered 6/30/2005Southern New Jersey I don't think there's any chance of seeing Kindles on HSN (owned 32% by Liberty Media) or QVC (owned 100% by Liberty Media.) Liberty Media was going to buy B&N for $1 billion then backed out and instead opted to invest $207 million in B&N stock to help keep B&N alive and get two of their executives on the B&N board. That's why you're seeing Nooks pop up on QVC and HSN. They're looking to push Nooks out there to get back their investment and see what happens with B&N. If B&N is able to survive then Liberty Media is nicely positioned to make a lot of money. If B&N falls then Liberty Media can still take the profit they've made from selling Nooks to offset the $207 million they invested. Fly! Eagles! Fly!
