All of the sudden this has shown up. I don't want it. Their window says by checking this box I can deactivate it. I check the box. Not only is it not deactivated, it won't go away! Can anyone help me get rid of it?

I couldn't find it in Add/Remove programs It must be there somewhere! I checked under the corporation's name -and nothing. When I clicked on help, and clicked on "deactivate" in that window, another window popped up that had a box to click to deactivate. I did, and nothing happened. I can't get rid of it.

Sounds like malware to me. Run the typical scans. I like this program to uninstall programs.

Revo uninstaller

Check this link and it may help you. Apparently Coupon Buddy is tacked onto some toolbars and can be removed under the options/setttings/tools setting of the toolbar in question. If you can figure out what toolbar it's been tacked onto you should be able to shut it down. (The options/settings/tools tab is typically at the far right of the toolbar.)

Spybot Search and Destroy is a small free program that removes similar nuisances, and may remove this one as well. Just download the program, install it, update it, then do a scan. The scan may take some time, so just go have a cup of coffee or something and let it do its thing. When it's finished, let it remove what it has detected.

Thanks for your advice. I've been trying all afternoon and nothing's working. It's not showing up on any of my toolbars. I set it to disabled, but the corner icon and pop up window will NOT go away! I'll keep working on it.

I called Norton. The first technician couldn't help, but the second one did. And it didn't take all night like it has from time to time!! It wasn't showing up in the toolbar option menu, but after this technician did some work, all of the sudden it was. As soon as I saw it, it was easy to remove. I don't know how they did it, though. Maybe they'll send me an e-mail. Thanks again everyone for trying to help!
