About 1-1/2 years ago I purchased the Bose Wave Radio System. The other day when I tried to play a CD, it said "cannot read disc." Thinking perhaps it was the disc, I tried several more ..... same thing.

So, I wrote to Bose to find out where I could take it, locally, to have them take a look at it and repair it. You have to send the thing back to them! That's ridiculous. That means I have to take it to the UPS office, pay to have it packaged up, pay to have it sent and then pay Bose to fix the thing! Aren't there any people anywhere who can fix these things without going through this?

I am not at all happy about this ridiculous "rule" of theirs. I will never again buy a Bose anything! I just had a total knee replacement not too long ago and now I am to do this???? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I'm done with them. I'm now using my old CD/tape/radio player, which has never failed me.
