I saw some gorgeous bags recently - very cheap. Then they told me they were knock-offs. Hmm - I resisted although very tempted. Are they illegal? Would it be wrong of me to buy one - or two? Opinions?

Definitely illegal and I guess yes I think it would be wrong, but that's just me.

DB even has a place to report knockoffs on their website. It is illegal to sell and to buy. Why anyone would want a knockoff is strange to me. There are so many coach knockoffs also and they can be spotted a mile away. Real thing of nothing for me!

Ladies...It's only illegal if these bags have a (phoney) brand name on them. Just because they "look" like a high end bag by no means makes it illegal to buy!!!

I agree - if the bags are marked/labeled as a specific brand name like D and B and you know they're NOT, then don't buy 'em. They may be part of an undercover sting operation, anyway.

But if they just look like them, go for it!
