Dooney's cancer warning tag??

When my Dillen satchel arrived today from dooney.com, attached with their regular blue tag was a second blue tag reading: "Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm." My goodness, what is in this bag; maybe something harmful used to tan the leather? Have any of you seen this tag on your leather Dooney's? I sort of had to laugh.....does this dangerous chemical cause cancer only to those living in CA -- they have enough to worry about with the earthquakes.
