I Have been using WEN for the last 6 months and think that I may be ruinning my color? I use Lavendar, Sweet Almond Mint and Cucumber and I heard today that Cucumber is the most Clarifyng? Is that true? Which one should I use? BTW I have fine, greasy scalp, dry hair due to color treated and blow drying it daily....Thanks for any help

WEN shouldn't strip your color, what type of color are you using. Many of us are seeing our highlights and color last longer since we started using it. I know that mine does, I use Lavender and Tea Tree. The description of your hair is exactly what Cucumber Aloe is designed for.

blonde/gray, blue-gray, dry combination, neutral beige. WEN, Somerville, Clinique

Chaz just said lavender for volume or SAM for other. Did NOT recommend CA for colored hair! Said only for dry hair, oily scalp but for color to go with something else. this is from about 5 min ago during the cc/styling creme presentation.

I wish I'd heard that. I ordered the CA because it said for fine hair and dry hair. Mine is color treated, too.

Maybe you can change it or get another kit debcakes? I wanted to post ASAP so that people knew he said it and it wasn't an opinion. I don't use Wen but a friend of mine did and so I'm keeping it in mind as a gift.

Chaz has said many times before that all 5 are excellent for colored hair. If you read the descriptions it also says the same. Hope this helps.

I love Wen. I use TT and SAM. I went to get my roots touched up after 4 weeks. My colorist commented on how much my color had faded. I'm thinking of letting the grey grow in, with Joan Rivers Great Hair Day - salt & pepper.

Thanks for the comments. Guess I'll try it and see. I can always change fragrances for the next delivery. Think I will, anyway, as I want to try more types. I also ordered the OTO in Lavender. I hope it all works. Sick of my hair. It has suddenly become unmanageable.

I color treat my hair ,and rotate using all the formulations. No problems at all.

all wen CC's are saft for color treated hair. I think what Chaz meant was if you color treat you should use a more moisturizing formula like Lavender or Fig because color treated hair can be dry due to the color process. I have and use all 5 flavors of wen and I have color treated hair.

This is the second thread saying Chaz said if you color tx your hair not to use CA! I am so upset right now!! already ordered it for this express reason....to stop my color from fading....I thought that was why this line was so good....and of course I can use it when it gets here but if it's going to fade my color/highlights just like regular shampoo what's the point! I guess I could call CS and tell them I am returning it at there expense due to his comments at a later show...he should have this information posted online about CA that if you color DON'T USE THIS FORMULATION....that makes me really upset.

All Wen flavors are perfectly safe and fine for color treated hair.
