Plenty of us use hairspray... But I don't on wet or dampy hair it would make mine go flat. I'd use another type of styling product. Gel, mouse, wax etc. on wet or damp hair. I use Big S*exy Hair Spray and Play as a hair spray and their root lift product myself. Donnaj

I don't know anyone that doesn't use it. If it's lift at the root you need I love matrix or Paul Mitchell root lifter. I use that before I blow dry, and after, I set my hair on super large Velcro rollers, and spray the root with Paul Michell freeze and shine hair spray, apply the dryer to the curlers. After doing this and you will have staying power. You have to adjust the amount of product you use by your hair type. This is a trail and error process.

My stylist blow dries mr hair untip it is damp, then sprays it with Sebastian Shaper Plus, finishes drying and then flat irons. Has anyone ever done this?

My typos appall me. That would be "my" not "mr" and "until" instead of "untip"{#emotions_dlg.scared}

I have curly hair. When 80% dry I spray-any old brand works fine.
