Does HSN and QVC think we are all idiots.

HSN - has Adrienne with her tired old blue bottle of Argon oil that she claims "is all that can be gotten every year".

Now Josie Moran claims to have "Organic" Argon Oil, enough to sell 22,000+ bottles on QVC.

I am lucky - I live in Northern California and we hav a Sephora on every corner - went to check out the Argon Oil by Josie - I am a very "do everything organic person" - this stuff was juck, juck, did I mention juck.

The time has come to realize that whether it is Dr. Denese, Perricone, Kate Somerville, etc...it is all snake oil - I am sure we all see a bit of improvement here and there - but if we ate better, exercised, drank water (I know it sounds simple and dumb) - but it works _ I have been doing it my whole life and and 50 and look 35 and I use very little in the way of skin care, makeup etc.......

Wow, 50 looking 35? You should go on the Dr. Oz show! I mean I agree with you on all the 'magic potions' the beauty industry peddles.

But a little help from the derms & P.S. is a better use your resources. The other stuff, magic potions, not so much.

I love Argan Oil You can find organic at better prices. At least Josie Moran's is 100% pure. Adrienne's is full of other stuff & should be used on the hair not the skin IMO. I use Argan Oil on my face, nails, cuticles, hands & hair.

The Isomers "snake oil" I have used over the years has done wonderful things for my skin. I also eat organically, exercise, and drink lots of filtered water. But there in NO WAY I will stop using my skincare. Just got some argon oil and like it very much. To each his own....

Androcco Argan Oil is 100% pure argan oil from Morocco. No fillers or additive or oils. It is Eco Cert organic and also Free Trade. I know there are other sites that also sell equal quality, I happen to support Androcco and everyone on the board knows this. Excellent prices at $12 for 1 ounce and $20 for 2 oz with $1 shipping.

I'm not sure if the point of your post that you could not find good Argan Oil but it is out there. I do believe Josie's is excellent argan oil, just that the price reflects her name. Argan oil is not that rare but if you compare it the amount of corn oil or olive oil that is produced in a year, then yes, argain oil is rare in comparision....but plenty of it for cosmetic and even cooking at this point.

I just ordered this, too NR. I wanted to try argan oil, but couldn't see paying 40 some dollars for it.

Thanks so much for the site information. I also tried Camden Gray, but you had to order at least $20 minimum on that site, and shipping was very high.

I like jojoba oil a lot, but apparently argan can be even more effective, so I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

I think Adrienne may be using a marketing ploy - maybe?

I don't know what 'juck' is, but I don't know how you made any judgement about JM's argan oil by looking at the bottle. You know it's 100% pure, organic (don't know why you doubt that), and Free Trade; it's in a recyclable glass bottle. What part did you like/not like.

Unless I don't like the ingredients, and the external factors (like FT), I have to actually use a product to make a judgement.

Argan oil is actually fantastic skin care. The fact that it grows in the desert makes perfect sense.

And most of all, I disagree with you about skin care. I got RAVEs from the facialist today about my skin: no blackheads, closed pores, no wrinkles, etc.

Most people who are dissatisfied with skincare either use the wrong things for their skin, use products full of irritating cheap, chemical ingredients or MOST OFTEN: waited too long to start taking care of their skin. I've been doing good, regular skin care since I was 35, which I think is late; I wish I'd started at 18. But now I'm reaping the benefits at 52.

If you use the correct products for your issues, you can and will see results, but it requires educating yourself, just like to know how to care for your body by eating right, etc.

The skin is your largest organ, and external. There's no way I'm going not going to take the best possible care of it.
