I have a feeling they're readers. Just by the way she uses them, I don't think they're prescription. Which ones are you referring to, I've seen her wear a couple of different frames.

blonde/gray, blue-gray, dry combination, neutral beige. WEN, Somerville, Clinique

Are you talking about the heavy dark black ones? Sorry, but I think those look hideous on her. JMO!!

I would like to know too. I love them and they are exactly the kind of thing I want. I HATE those tiny old fashioned granny readers. They just look so dumb on me.

I dont care for those heavy dark black ones either.. shes such a beautiful woman , and those glasses hide her beauty.
If they were slightly smaller they would look better.
IN my oppinion.

I like them too - they suit her.
I always buy regular frames for my readers, and yes, I get prescription ones and nice frames and they are great. Always get compliments, they don't look like readers.

The eyeglasses that I am referring to are the larger, dark framed glasses. Personally I think they look very professional. Since I have to travel internationally, this style of glasses reflect great attitude to me.

I don't care for them myself, but can't picture her in anything else. I guess they suit her.

Last year when she had the TSV someone called in and asked about them. She took them off and looked at the the iside of the arm and said - I'm can't tell you who makes them because I can't see without my glasses on! They must be readers....

I don't know what it was about her last presentation but I thought she would look a lot better if she would lose the glasses. They looked like they were in the way and she was having a hard time finding what area to look out of. I have never noticed this before and I watch every BB presentation.B-)

For heavens sakes! Leave Bobbi alone. She has her own style and attractiveness. She's a down to earth woman who makes the most of her looks and is not trying to compete with her models.
She's working on air, and doesn't have to be glamorous all the time. She's obviously successful at it as she has turned a dozen browned down lipsticks into an empire. Whatever she's doing, she's definitely doing it right! She's OK with wearing glasses, so why aren't you?

I love her glasses too! Here is the answer I found:

Thanks so much for your inquiry! The frame that Bobbi Brown is wearing is

I think they look good on her. I've seen lots of pics of celebs wearing that chunkier, black style. They don't look good on everyone I've seen them on, but they work on BB!

I have some that are readers that look exactly the same and were $1.00 at the Dollar Tree in Logan, West Virginia, last year. Love the frame and like it on Bobbi, however, I would like her better in a dark brown frame. The black is so harsh on her, IMO.

IslandGirl.....I LOVE Bobbi's glasses too. The last time she was on I loved them and went online and found a pair of black framed "Clark Kent" style readers. They are on this site:

www.DebSpecs.com The style is called Mild Mannered. I LOVE them and I get compliments all the time. Ladies ask me all the time where I got them. And they aren't a designer price....$29.99!

Check them out!!!

There are some really cute frames on this site, I wish I could try them on though.

Unfortunately as we get older and our eyesight goes, "losing the glasses" isn't an option if you want to see anything close-up. Which would be critical in BB's line of work. Sure, you can try other styles, but at 50+ they really are a necessity for almost everyone.
