Does anyone know if Argan oil or Squalene oil is better for the skin as far as moisturizing and anti-aging effects?

Thanks!

Julie

I got a gift of argan oil from a friend and buy Mayumi Squalane oil for myself. While both are quality products, the Mayumi Squalane absorbed better. I have read its identical to the skin's natural oil.

I bought some Josie Maran Argan oil from Sephora & some Melvita Argan Oil from SkinStore. Both are organic. I like both of them.  Argan oil is exceptionally rich in natural tocopherols (vitamin E), rich in phenols and phenolic acid, rich in carotenes, rich in squalene, rich in essential fatty acids, 80% unsaturated fatty acids[6] and depending on extraction method more resistant to oxidation than olive oil. From wikipedia.

Both are good but squalane is almost identical to human sebum in terms of pH, fatty acids, lipids, etc.  As a matter of fact, human sebum is 12% squalane. Next in line is olive oil and then jojoba oil (in terms of closeness to human sebum)

Really, a matter of preference, though.

 I bought and use/like the Mayumi Squalane thanks to recs. by the beauties here, esp. NR! Cost effective, also.

Yes, but how are they when mixed with balsamic vinegar?  I tend to prefer olive oil because if I decide I don't like it on my body I can still use it in my body. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
