I need help with Mally's "Waterproof", "Bullet Proof" Makeup

When Malley said waterproof and bullet proof, does she mean just that or is it also supposed to be face oil proof?  Is she saying that hoping that's what we will think?

The reason I ask is that I have ordered so much make up from various vendors at the Q who say their makeup won't run or disappear until we take it off.  But it does disappear and it does rub off from skin oil.

Is there any makeup that truly stays?  I guess if there were, then the professional makeup people who work on sets would not have to come out during commercial breaks to fix makeup.

Curious what you all think?

Thanks

I forgot to add that I have recently purchased quite a bit of her makeup  and I'm hoping it stays better than some other makeup that I've used.

Thanks

Help, does it stay, or am I just too oily?  I do use eye primer but it just doesn't seem to help.

On me, it stays. I've gone on and on on various threads here about how wonderful it is, especially the eye makeup. I can cry, rub my eyes, take a nap in the car - and it still is on! My daughter likes it too. I got her some last spring and sent a surprise package to her at college. She's happy with most of it, but the eyeliners just don't stay on her like they do on me. Go figure. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}  She likes MAC Fluidlines. They stay on her. I'm not as crazy about those!

Thanks, beach-mom.  I may have to try MAC Fluidlines too.

i have very oily eyelids and Mally's products are the only ones I have found that will stay on perfectly, even if I sleep in them.  They are the only eye products I will use.  I have the liner pencil, the shadow stick (wonderful), the mascara and the concealer.  YMMV, but they work for me.

is it bulletproof

So, are you saying that it will stop a speeding bullet with the hand?  LOL  If it's oil proof, I wish she would just say that.  But then again, I guess we'd never be able to get it off if it were oil proof.

When I joined the QVC forums, I started out for a couple years in the beauty forum.  I've been in other forums more recently and I've been out of touch here.  So I'd like to thank you for your kind comments.

i remember a show where Doris Dalton was showing her water proof, oil proof eye makeup, was pouring oil on it and it started running - her hand went under the table fast!! nothing is impervious unless its a tatoo, but Mally's is really good.

I always start with Mally's eye base as a primer for any eyeshadow I might be wearing and it stays on until I remove it with no creasing...That is probably the only product that I would never be without.  Her liner pencils are pretty amazing and on me, they do stay on until they are removed...You might also want to try her 24/7 eyeliner system as that stays on great too...Her shadow sticks are nice and very easy to apply but most have a shimmer so that is something to consider if you don't like a shimmery shadow. I have been very happy with most of her products and find they do have great staying power.

Rover, what eye primer do you use? I also have very oily eye lids and Bare Escentuals eye primer works wonders for me. Stops the oil cold. Same thing for their oil control primer for the face. It might be worth a try for you. As for eyeliners that I have found are bulletproof (I did the rub-on-hand trick the vendors often do), I've recently found the limitless eyeliner from Smashbox really delivers. Hope that helps!
