Clarisonic Mia-is it right for me?

It seems like everyone who owns a Clarisonic absolutely loves it.  I am interested in the TSV tomorrow but I am on the fence.  I wear minimal makeup, have an excellent skin care regimen (AHA, Retin A) and have no skin problems at all.  Is it really worth it?  Do you notice that much of a difference?  By the way, I have been a lurker on this board for years so I guess I am officially going "public"....

welcome!  love my clarisonic.  not only does it remove makeup but also the daily dirt / gunk that builds up on your skin.  can't wait to wash my face at night.  my skin care products also seem to be more effective / work better.  imho, it's a must-have!  hth.

p.s. remember that you also have 30 days to return it if you decide it's not for you.

NittanyGrrl, welcome.  I have been using my Clarisonic with Purity Made Simple for a couple years.  I'm not as disciplined about removing makeup as I could be.  After using the Clarisonic, my face not only feels clean, but absorbs other products more effectively.  Yes, it is an investment, but I can't imagine going back to a washcloth.  XXOO

Thanks for the replies--the ladies on this board are a wealth of good advice!  I suppose I don't "need" a clarisonic but I am always looking for a better way to take care of my skin.

I have sensitive skin so I chose to use it only once or twice a week but I like it, sometimes your skin really needs it. I try to remove my makeup before using it, especially around my eyes.
Skin is very smooth after use!

for me, it turned into a "need" - just didn't know it until I started using it two years ago.  have definitely amortized my investment{#emotions_dlg.wub}

Hi NittanyGirl (Penn State?).  Love my Mia.  Ordered it as a TSV about 6 mo ago and LOVE it.  I am 48 and still have oily, sensitive and acne prone skin.  I have had fewer breakouts since using the Mia.  It gives me the freedom to use products that used to break me out.  Love the feeling of that vibrating brush.
