Hi there! I have a Birchbox invite and I am trying to decide if it is worth it. Plus, I am not really sure how it works. If there is anyone who can explain the whole thing to me, and give me their thoughts/opinions, I would appreciate it!
When you consider that it is a sampling service, for only $10 a month and shipping is included, it is worth it. If you go into it expecting full size products every month you won't like it.
You basically get 4-6 items, including skincare, makeup, lifestyle, snacks...etc each month for $10 a month.
I subbed for 4 months, never used any of my samples and unsubbed because it was just a waste to me. One of those months I got a full size LG blush n brighten.
I re-subbed last month and got a full size Stila one-step bronze with my samples. This month I got a beautyblender sponge and a full size Stila lipglaze. It was a tremendous value. But, there are several different boxes they send out each month and you never know which you will get.
So far this time, I am very pleased and think it is well worth it!
Hey, Mistye, do you have a referral link I can use? I'd like to join and would like to give credit for someone.
I like it! It has always been worth at least $10. Many times I get a full sized product well worth over the $10.
Besides everything mistye said, when you fill out their mini review/questionnaire for each item you received in your birchbox, you get 10 points each (you also get at least 50 points just for signing up so you are already halfway to your first $10 off!). Once you get 100 points, you get $10 off anything. You can save up the points too to earn more money off. Plus every 3 months you get a 20% off coupon code so if you save up points and then order when they give you a 20% off coupon, you could virtually pay only a few bucks for the order! My next order will come to about $88. I will be waiting for next month when I get 20% off of that and then I will also have 50 points (i.e. $50) so I will only pay about $20 for the order! To me, that is a good deal.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...but becomes something entirely different when someone STEALS your ideas and claims the credit for themselves.

Thanks for the link. I gave them my email. They said they'd email me when they release subscriptions again. :) Hope the wait isn't too long.
Thanks Ladies! I think I will give it a try! :)
