Juvederm. I use very good products and have for years. Nothing will really lessen the lines. Finally took the plunge and got juvederm injections and couldn't be happier.

How much is Juvederm and how long does it last? That is the only area on my face I just can't get any improvement on, both above and below lips. I credit smoking for 20 years in my youth for this. I quit in 1984 but your skin and muscles evidently don't forget.

You'll have to stop drinking liquids if you don't want lines along your upper lip. Take a glass of water and drink it in front the the mirror. Vwalla! Lines!! Can't be helped. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

I have the same lines, badly, because I have an unconcious habit of pursing my lips. About the Juvederm, how much does it hurt (truthfully, and I hate needles and pain), does it give you fish lips (not looking to have bigger or different lips), and how long does it last? And did I mention, how much does it hurt? ;)

Any of the injectable fillers will fix the lines. I've had it done, works great!

Ladies, in answer to your questions: I can only speak from my experience; however, from what I've read on these boards, the cost seems to be pretty much the same. $500 per vial. I told my Dr. I did not want duck lips and he said that the reason people have huge lips is because they use too much juvederm. (Usually two vials). He used one on me. Most of it went in the top lip and a little in the bottom lip to make sure they balanced out. He uses a tiny needle to numb the lips and it stings a little on the first ones, then when the juvederm is used you don't feel anything. I was told there would be a bit of swelling for three or four days and there was, but not so much that I didn't think I could run an errand if I had to. I used ice as instructed for the first day or two. As for how long it lasts, I think I neglected to ask, but from what I've heard and read, it should be several months. I was thinking that I would do the injections on my birthday each year. To me, from me. I am 67 and told the Dr. I felt a little foolish doing this at my age ~ he giggled and said that he has patients in their 90's. Wow.

SKINN Wrinkle Balm Extreme .

Works like a charm!

LOVE it!

They are saying on ShopNBC that the Angellift strips will make those lines go away. I can't speak from experience but I'm thinking about trying them. They say it was discovered by a dentist when they were doing dental work. It would be less expensive than injections .

I don't have a straw handy but am trying to figure out how to do what you're describing. I probably look like I'm making a fish face! {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} Oh, well, at least I don't have lines above my lips (yet!).

Unless your lips looks like they are "pleated", I would hold back on the Juvederm, it is so expensive and according to my next door neighbor, who has regular Juvederm injections, their efficacy lasts less the more you get.

I can't think of any names right now, but I KNOW I've heard of lip line fillers before. Maybe you could google "lip line filler and see what you come up with.
