Can someone please explain the relationship between these two lines. I see similar products under these two names. Is there a connection? Is it the same company?

They are both owned by the same company. The Elaria line is a newer line for them in the U.S., I believe.

yes, started with Perlier than Elaria and at that time they had different scents. I love thier body balms, 25% shea butter which is great for my hands, feet, and elbows. Most hand creams only have 8 % shea butter and some, rare(Perlier) have 15 or 18% shea butter but this intensive body balm has 25% shea butter. love this stuff.

yes both owned by the same and both the same company but really don't know why they branched to 2 names?

Perlier has more recognition as a quality brand than Elaria. Is Perlier higher end or have better ingredients? It's confusing. There must be a reason for them doing that.

This is what I have always thought; Elaria is the floral line.

I heard Skip say once that Perlier is the basic original line consisting of mostly one note scents and that Elaria (named after Skip's sister) was the scents that would be multiple scents blended together - mostly multi-floral scent blends - but, some of the scents that were originally released under Elaria are now repackaged under Perlier - I'm thinking they may eliminate Elaria since Perlier is the name known world wide and more recognizable.

In a couple of presentations I heard Skip say that Perlier is "classic" scents while Elariia is more modern scents, including blends of fragrances. Elariia is not all floral because the Double Latte line is Elariia and smells like baby powder.

I personally find that the Elariia fragrances are much stronger.

Agree eith cassiem - the Elaria fragrances seem to be much stronger and last longer. Unfortunately, the one that I loved, the Elaria Shea Butter has apparently been discontinued . The hand lotion, body cream and bath powder were wonderful - wish they would bring this back. The Perlier is OK and the White Almond is good but the Elaria was so much better.
