HELP - my EYEBROWS where over-waxed

Yesterday a friend, who does an outstanding job cutting my sons hair - also cut and over-waxed my eyebrows. My brows where nicely shaped and when the friend suggested waxing my eyebrows I thought she was just doing a clean-up - but SURPRISE !

She also dyed what was left of my brows a very dark brown - making this even worse.

My teenage son has suggested that I now look like someone from the Jersey Shore.

Is there some kind of product to get the hair to grow - I am so ashamed of my new look.
