Is St. Tropez better than other self tanners such as Bare Essentials.

I've tried them all but still looking for that best one, don't care to pay the price if it truly is worth it.

The St. Tropez is great!!! I have tried a ton of different self-tanners, and this one is my favorite hands down. I know it is $$, but it is so easy to use, you get instant results, does not smell bad and the color is pretty and natural looking. Love the mitt too, as it makes application so easy and you do not have to worry about rubber gloves or getting the color off you hands. I will be ordering the TSV. You have the 30 day return, but I bet you will love it. Hope this helps. KFS

PS..Yes I definately think it is better than BE, and much easier and quicker to apply.

I agree. I have both and have a slight preference for St. Tropez for easy application. I also love my Kate Somerville Tan Towels. I may get the St. Tropez TSV.

Having used both, I feel the St. Tropez is better for application and scent. St. Tropez still has that stinky tanner scent to it, but not as strong as BE and many others out there. I love St. Tropez, and the up-coming TSV is a real winner.

I tried being patient but it took too long.

I'd rather get a tan in St. Tropez.

I prefer the St. Tropez but have really gotten tired of the faux tanners. I will usually start out in the season faux tanning but get tired of doing it pretty fast.

I love the St Tropez too. I used to use BE and liked it the the St. Tropez is so much easier. The cream stays longer than the mousse but I love them both. When is the TSV going to be. I don't show it in March and I haven't gotten my next Insider yet. I have the mousse on auto delivery but if the TSV is a better deal I will change it.

I dont know about their self tanners but I can tell you I LOVE their suntan lotions. i get the deepest beautiful tan, and it keeps my skin in tip=top shape.

I believe it starts at midnight tonight.

Thank. I just set it to tape. Will check it out when I get up at 5:30a for work. If there's a way to save $ on it I'm all in.

I've tried them all, cheap and expensive. I prefer St. Tropez.

I've tried many but greatly prefer BE. It give me the most natural color, no orange, no streaks and no bad smell plus it's really quick and easy to use. I tried St Tropez and it is okay but has a little bit of an orange tone to me and a stronger smell. My second choice is Kate Somerville 360 Tan Towels.

I really love St. Tropez mousse self-tanner. I like that you can see where you are applying it and that it comes with a mitt. I'm light skinned and I'm always afraid of looking orange but this is always gives a beautiful tan. I've never tried BE but I have read that it is messy to apply whereas St. Tropez mousse couldn't be easier.

I have used both and prefer the St. Tropez! My TSV is already on its way!

I know too much to go back an' pretend.

I always felt "dirty" when using BE. Does anyone know if St. Tropez is different? Maybe it's just me.

I have a bottle of St. Tropez and it is a couple years old. Just wondered if it should still be any good?? Thanks.

It seems there are a lot of people who prefer a particular self tanner. I am sure this would be like any other product that it will depend entirely on your body chemistry as to how it works for you.

I have used BE and some others and although BE is a good color choice for me, I have read that the St. Tropez dries faster and that is a BIG plus for me.
