What makeup products do the QVC hosts wear on air?

Anyone know? I want to know what type of foundation they wear especially Lisa Robertson b/c her makeup looked great tonight. (Hi Lisa... you're my favorite host! Very informative about the products and you make it fun to watch the shows.)

Most of the time, they wear what they are selling.

Right but I mean their bound to have a staple that they use when they aren't selling beauty products. It'll probably remain a mystery to us viewers. Like Lisa says she wears Bare Escentuals off air but I'm sure they don't always wear what they are promoting.

I think they wear lots of professional foundation when they're on the air rather than products we use all the time. Their eye makeup, blush, and lip colors may come from what they're selling, but almost all of them have alluded to their camera-ready makeup at one time or another.

I dont know what makeup they wear but on the Christmas break show either this year or last year. They showed wear they get thear makeup done and the makeup artist was using Samy hair spray. I couldnt believe my eyes. ROTFLOL.

I've heard Lisa say she uses Bare Escentuals off air, but on air they have heavy stage makeup sprayed on. I heard Marybeth Rowe say the same thing about stage makeup on air.

Always end the day with a positive thought. No matter how hard things were, tomorrow's a fresh opportunity to make it better.

This won't answer your question, but I've heard Lisa say with digital they use air brush.

I can't imagine them wearing the makeup they sell unless they are selling it, and there has to be something they mix in to make it camera ready. If they were truly wearing what they sell, then they would like like, well, us! LOL! When they say things like, "I wear this all of the time...", I think they mean off camera, when they are not at work.

IMHO, the hosts on HSN look much better. Their m/u always looks perfect in a more "natural" way. They don't have tons of black eyeliner and mascara/lashes on. They just seem to have a more natural look but they look fantastic. I also like their hair too. They aren't overdone - they just look really good. I'd like their m/u artist!!!!

Their make-up is done professionally. Lisa is always posting on her FB page about sitting in the Q salon getting her hair and make-up done before she goes on air. Leah has mentioned getting foundation airbrushed on.

I think if they are presenting a make-up TSV, the make-up artist uses the TSV products on them.

Some of the hosts' makeup probably is airbrushing, but from time to time, the female hosts will say that they add certain products (from QVC vendors, of course!). I don't recall any specifics, but details may be mentioned in the host blogs on this website, or if you are on Facebook (I am not) you could check there.

You could email Lisa personally and get your answer. Hosts do not answer things on these blogs....

I agree-they look good and professional without looking overly madeup-especially the black eyeliner. That is not a good look on most people having black eyeliner on top and bottom so heavy like they do!!!!!HSN hosts makeup artist is very good!!!!!

I'm not sure which of the hosts said it............but they are all "airbrushed" in the makeup room before going on air.

Totally agree! Have always thought their makeup and attire are a cut above the Q. Their makeup looks flawless w/picture perfect skin even without the soft focus lighting effects. I think it's time for the Q to give their hosts the royal treatment.
