How often do you change your bath towel?1

I exchange my bath towel once a week and was wondering what is the norm? (I also change my bedding once a week as well). There is nothing like getting into bed with fresh sheets : ) And even better with a fresh towel. If I could I would use a fresh towel every shower.

Daily for towels and twice a week for linens (I let my dogs sleep with me...sorry if that grosses anyone out).

I change my face towel every other day, my bath/hair towels every 2-3 days (if I work from home I don't take a shower, so it buys me an extra day ;o)

I change my sheets 1-2x a week. If I am sick with a cold or something, I change my pillow cases every day and my sheets every other day. Just depends on whether I have the energy to switch everything. Usually the first couple of days I'm too sick to do the whole bed.

I get a fresh clean bath towel and wash cloth daily. My bed sheets get changed once a week.

I don't mind doing laundry.

My husband and I both only use a towel or wash cloth once. I am constantly doing laundry! Sheets once a week.

Daily for towels (daily for washcloths too, hand towels I switch out every other day or 2), once a week or 10 days (if I am being lazy) for sheets. Pillowcases every other day.

{#emotions_dlg.huh}I can't imagine using a towel more than once. Not saying it's wrong to do it that way just that I would have a hard time doing this. I can do without most anything but I really enjoy having a clean fresh towel to use every day. One luxury I demand in life I guess. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

About three times a week, usually. I don't share, and I use my bath towel only to dry off after my daily shower. I hang it up to air-dry after each use, so it stays fresh and doesn't get mildewy. Works for me!

I can't imagine using a towel just once. Seems wasteful to me, but to each his/her own.

A clean towel with each shower...a clean wash cloth with each use.

I change my sheets weekly, and change my pillow cases every 2/3 nights.

This is the norm for me.

I don't know what is typical, but we at our home use a fresh washcloth/towel each time of use and our linens are changed once/twice per week, with the exception of pillowcases which are changed daily. This may or may not be green with respect to water usage and other things, but this way pleases me and my family. To each their own. This is an interesting topic, I think.

this is interesting right?! i would love to have fresh towels everday and pillow cases as well, but I think I would be too lazy to actually do it!

Every other day. Sometimes every day in the winter as my skin can get dry - I took a shower tonight (as HOT as I could stand it - yes, I know not good, but I love it) and when I got out, even though I shaved and scrubbed, the dead skin rolled off. THAT is why I change it often. The thought of re-using a dead skin infested towel grosses me out.

Edit: I feel compelled to add that I never use my towel on my face - ever. I only use microfiber facial towels (white) and a new one every day. The white means no bleaching issues when I use my Proactiv, and it also means I can clean them with gusto. I also am very sensitive on the face so I can't ever wash face towels w/body towels as the face towels get un-scented soap.

Bath towels about twice a week, washcloths every day, sheets once a week. I would like to have sheets washed twice a week but usually can't find the time.

I do the same, my dogs also sleep with me!

ITA! When you use your bath towel, you are merely drying yourself off. Why put them through the washing machine more than once or twice a week? They will also show wear with so much washing.
