moisturizer with hydraulonic acid for rosacea help

Started 1324139677.4 in Beauty Banter | Last reply 1324224655.727 by njnj

I've seen a few threads that with rosacea its important to have a moisturizer with hydraulonic acid(not sure if that is the right spelling!), does anyone have any recomendations please?

I use NeoCell HA with lipsome technology. And I take their capsules! I see a difference with ha. What I prefer about NeoCell is they use the real ha, not the lab made (sodium hyaluronate)

I purchased a 30 ml bottle of the stuff and just add it to whatever cream I am using at the time.

Garden of Wisdom also has several HA serums, some specifically designed for rosacea. I haven't really had much luck with HA for some reason, but I'm thinking about trying it again. Let us know your results.

Hi dogmum-On the recommendation of my Derm, I now use something called HyMed Cream. It's not prescription, but as of now, I think it's only available in doc's offices.

Over 40. Dark hair. Fair, with mild-moderate Rosacea. Finicky skin. Did I mention--Gorgeous? ;)

Polar...where did you buy the pure HA in a 30ml bottle? What a great idea...

Hi nunu, I think it was your post about NeoCell Collagen that got me started (Super Collagen+C). And now I'm reading about lab created HA (which of course I have a half liter of) and the real stuff. Hmmm. There is a significant difference?

p.s. Have to add your knowledge of suppliments is awesome!

Hyaluronic Acid holds a thousand times its weight in water so it's excellent for dry and sensitive skins. Dermalogica has a hydrating serum with HA as its main ingredient.

Isomers has straight HA and products with HA in them.

It's probably best to get the straight HA to be sure there's nothing irritating along with it.

I checked my half liter bottle of Isomers and it's the sodium HA. That's the one nunu mentioned above. Wondering what the difference is between the lab created and the other?

Ask your doctor for a prescription for Bionect, a high sodium hyaluronic acid concentrate cream. My skin has never looked better.

Terasita skincare.com has 10% hyaluronic acid in their moisturizers & serum. The products are excellent. I love the Olive Oil cleanser & the Hydral Soft cream.

Dogmum, the M. ASAM Aqua Intense Hyaluron line on HSN has a whole range of fragrance-free, hyaluronic acid-based products - cleanser, mask, serums/creams for eye & face.

They are on HSN now and later today, and have special event prices too, if you'd like to check it out.
