Isomers Stem Gen Vs Skinn Collagenesis?

Started 1321071906.44 in Beauty Banter | Last reply 1321150732.99 by Lotus~

Has anyone used both? I got the Isomers 8 oz stem gen OTV a few weeks ago. Skinn is offering the Collagensis (sp?) set at midnight. Do I stick with the Isomers product or try this one? Thanks.

Although I have not tried Skinn Collagenesis I have tried a few other products in the Skinn line and was disappointed. I use many of the Isomers products, including the stem genesis and I am very pleased with all of them. I have tried many skin care lines and Isomers has given me the best results. So my opinion would be to stick with the Isomers product.

I'm not tempted by Skinn and I'd also stick with Isomers Stem Genesis.

I can't decide-both have good ingredients, so I use Stem Shadow eraser in the a.m. and Collagenisis serum in the p.m. I'm covered. The stem genesis serum did nothing but I like the shadow eraser.

Dimitri's Stem Regen actually has many other beneficial ingredients than the Isomers product.

shel, I know, that's why I couldn't decide. Sometimes I think when there are lots of ingred. they must skimp on them just to say 'it's in there'. I guess the proof is in the pudding. We'll have to use them and then judge.

Jud, I actually have both products, and have not tried either one yet. I bought the Isomers one, but was so imopressed with the Skinn ingredioents that I had to have that one too .Actually Manuela says to use the Stem Genesis with the Shadow Eraser on top of it at night.

Wonder if Mad Cosmetics has anything better, LOL, Shel

I definately think that Dimitri has a SUPERIOS product here as I think many of his are. THIS is ONE company that doesn't skimp on ingredients even though there are alot - AND he DOESN'T add water as the 1st ingredient making it pretty much the BASE for the product AND listing as 1 would mean the most of THAT particular ingredient (though water is not an ingredient)

He also doesn't add ALOT of NONsense fillers

He does make GOOD products - what I don't like AND didn't like about the products is the CHANGE he has made is some formulas AND the INconsistancy in color, texture, scent of many of the products LIKE THE: AM & PM serum AND AM & PM moisturizers as wll as the AM & PM cleansers, EYE BALM TOO -

I still use the EYE serum (he changed the formula making it VERY oily & greasy BUT then recently toned down the omaga) & EYE balm LOVE THESE - I also do like the AM & PM cleasers (I just make sure the PM is orange BUT not a dark orangy AND the AM is PERFECTLY clear NOT tinted)

Though ISOMERS company is a scientific based - cosmetic chemists ??? they do have ALOT of added JUNK in their products AND not alot of ingredients ACTIVES

SAME as when I posted about the "other" company I found with the RENOVAGE product AWESOME ingredient deck - NO fillers, water JUNK added - AND the ISOMERS Renovage product has renovage as the 6th or so with not laot of anything else in it

Is that a reference to Days?? LOL.........

I bought the Isomers Stem Genesis TTV and I do like it, but it is not enough moisture for me. I am tempted to buy Skinn's TTV so I can have more moisture from the Cream and Balm. Plus, the before and after pics of the Stem Rejen eye were amazing!!!

My three kids are furry with four legs and they are the LOVES of my life! Next to my Husband of course!

Hello, it sure is a DOOL reference, Jud and I are very frequent posters on the DOOL thread on the Movies, Music Forum, please feel free to join us, all Daysies are welcome, that is what we call ourselves, cute, huh?

Also Manuela said if you need more moisture with the Stem Genesis to use the Accel. Recovery Cream on top of it.

That is super cute!! I will have to check it out. Thank you! I may have to just buy the ARC since I have read a lot of great things on it.

I really like the ARC Cream, have been using it for a while now. Very lightweight, more like a lotion. Isomers Antarcticine Cream would be even more moisturizing.

BTW, there are 2 different Days threads that run weekly, one is for story discussion, the other is for Spoilers. I like to read both, some prefer not to read spoilers.

J-Lou, c'mon down. We sure have fun. Lots of tongue in cheek stuff-you'll soon get the idea.

Been trying the Jabot line out of the y&r. That's some kind of eye cream they've got there. It flattens as it lubricates and is used only at night. The rest of the kit products-dunno yet.

Ok, I got the huge Antarticine cream too. I will for sure get the ARC Cream next time there is a sale price though.

I love spoilers!!! I always read my program guide for the week so I can see what's going to happen during the week. Thanks for letting me know about the threads. I have never been on that forum.

JustWantBeautifulSkinn - I know you've done a lot of ingredient research, so can you elaborate on the added JUNK Isomers has in it's Stem Genesis & other products? TIA.

I always gave Isomers credit for not adding any unnecessary fillers.

Still love my isomers c &e and eye preps. Sorry about all the capitals. am having a problem with my computer. sincerely, Sligo

Sligo - imho, it's too soon for me to give a thumbs up or down to the Acyl Glutathione Face. I plan to give it approx 6 mos of AM and PM use before I do so. If I don't feel it's addition to my AM/PM skin care routine has been of benefit, I'll drop it from my routine.

I receive the NP Deep Wrinkle in a kit and I use it primarily around my lip contour. If you're receiving it in a TSV kit (which means it's practically free) and you use the other products in that kit, you could target treat with it first after cleansing (and toning if you use a Perricone toner), and then continue with your AM/PM routine.

I appreciate your input. I don't think I'll order the Skinn kit because I already have the isomers kit and I'm on the fence about it.
